A newly constructed villa in its own spacious grounds with a large swimming pool and adjacent tennis court. There are 2 family suites with sofa beds and a King size bed in each, and a further 5 double bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. The entire villa has thermostatically controlled under floor heating for those cooler evenings at the beginning and end of the year. A very large lounge and dining area leads to a modern well fitted kitchen. There is a very comfortable TV room with satellite TV and DVD player. Between the 2 wings of the villa is a tiled piazza area with tables and chairs, leading to the pool and surrounding patio area. A lawn to one side and extensive grounds surround the villa, leading to a cork oak valley. 

Situated in a beautiful unspoilt rural location, the villa is on it's own large site with a wooded valley below, planted with cork oaks, wild flowers and eucalyptus, which is available to explore. The site is on the edge of 'The Costa Vincentina National Park' which is a protected area. The beaches are only 10 kilometers to the west, where there are many beautiful sandy coves and long stretches of stunning coastline.The local town of Odemira is only 3 kilometres away, and has many local cafes, restaurants and a range of shops. Several large supermarkets are within 5 minutes of the property. The area surrounding the Quinta is free of any high rise developments or garish tourist developments. Within 30 minutes you can be driving into the Monchique mountains or in any one of several historic towns, some of which have not changed for many years. 

 

The villa comprises 7 bedrooms in total; 5 double, 2 twin and 2 cots, 7 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 4 double sofa beds located in the 2 in each suite. This gives room for up to 14 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 7 bathrooms and 9 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. Recreational activities available with the villa include table tennis.

There is room for 14 in the living room and 15 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

he villa has been recently built with wide doorways, ramps in and out of the building, a separate disabled toilet and one of the 2 suites has a specially installed disabled shower, sink and toilet. All rooms are on 1 floor and easily accessible for a wheelchair user with level tiled floors. 

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, tennis.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find climbing, historic sites, a zoo.

The pictures don't really tell the full story - the owners will give you alot more than the pictures suggest. It was completely my responsibility for booking everything for 9 headstrong people used to the city. I was concerned that they'd be bored, not enough space for singles to sleep, was the villa finished to a good standard? It was. Although it was my 40th no one was really going to complain bitterly to me if any features fell flat but i think I would've sensed disapproval.

To my great relief after a long drive from Lisbon we were met by an army of cleaners finishing off a morning’s work. Suffice to say the Villa was clean to the shine. The co-owner popped in a couple of times to see that we were ok the site manager dro pped by for any questions. The cooking facilities were well thought out with a large kitchen - allowing for several cooks at once. A great social occaision. The dishwasher was an essential convenience!!

This villa is ideal for either a large family or two to spread out and relax or for singletons like us to enjoy a celebration. You could probably make as much noise as you’d want & not upset anyone as the other few properties are a good distance away. Although the town seemed to have plenty of taxis, you will need your own transport to explore beyond the national park. Even though it was not needed for us, this property is ideal for wheelchair access. The owners haven’t just thrown in the odd ramp the light switches are low-level. My shower was customised for disability use.

I was extremely impressed. If you’re looking for an all out party-assault for a week or two then maybe you should go to parts of the southern cost of Spain but for us and we age ranged from late 20’s to late 40’s we fancied chilling most of the time. GO, GO, GO And Enjoy!
