Our luxury property lies just on the edge of the beautiful seaside town of Tavira, less than a 15 minute walk away.

The property sits within the beautiful and exclusive "Quinta do Perogil" estate, which is a unique small development of Large Villas. The house sits near the 20m swimming pool which serves the other 9 houses around it.

The house also has a very large L shaped terrace from which you can have full views over the sea and town of Tavira.

It lies on three floors with a bedroom and shower room on each floor. Each of the shower rooms has an excellent power shower and 900mm shower base. The middle floor bathroom as well as having a shower also has a full size bath.

The quality of the internal fixtures and fittings is excellent and much higher than those you would expect to see in other rental properties. This is because we also like to use the property ourselves for our main holidays.

As you can see by our rating and reviews, we pride ourselves in making sure that your stay is as easy and relaxing as possible. We provide presses full of food and drinks on your arrival which will allow you to begin your stay in comfort without having to rush to the Supermarket on your very first morning.

There is a 32" Plasma screen TV with Sky TV including BBC, ITV, SKY News, Eurosport, Channel 4 ETC...

It is very important to bring your Sky Card from home as
if you dont you will just have the standard Sky Channels, i.e BBC, ITV, Sky News etc.....

One of the main reasons why we bought this house was the fact that you can sit either outside the lounge or on the terrace and enjoy the evening sunshine. For those of you that have children, like most parents we like the idea of relaxing either on the terrace or outside the lounge and being able to keep an eye on the younger ones.

The grounds are mainly grassed areas which surround the very large pool and the pool has a shallow end and is much larger that most communal pools. If Children are using the pool it is important that you keep a close eye on them as the shallow end is still 3 deep.

there are 3 double bedrooms. They all have their own shower rooms and each has excellent power showers and the middle bathroom also has a full sized bath. All have toilets, bidets and extra large sinks.

The house has three floors and each floor has a bedroom and a shower room on it. The top floor bedroom has commanding views from 2 windows and is suitable for kids..

The house lies approx 15 minutes walk from the centre of Tavira and even though a car is not essential for our property, having one would give guests much more freedom to explore the many delightful towns, seaside and fishing villages.

Spain is only about 25 minutes by car and you can even visit Seville in a little over the hour.

There are four excellent 18 hole golf courses within a few minutes of our house, and in our property we leave instructions on each course including prices and discounts etc.

However, a major plus point for the area is the construction of a new Jack Nicklaus golf course at Monte Rei which is just down the road from us. This course should be open to play in the autumn of 2007 and will bring even more golfers to the area.
 

Tavira is often called one of the most picturesque towns on the Algarve, and it’s not hard to see why. The town is large enough to have everything you want and small enough to retain lots of charm.

You can explore Tavira in lots of ways, you can either hop aboard the miniature roadtrain and have a trip around town or jump into a horse drawn carriage and take a leisurely ride around. You can also take a guided walking tour of the Town. However you can walk from one side of town to the other in about 15/20 minutes, so everyone can take their own time and method.

At the centre of Tavira and on a small hill rising above the town is the castle and the landmark clock tower of Igreja da Santa Maria do Castelo. The leisure walk up to the castle is lovely and you will pass lots of quaint shops and buildings (you may even decide to sample the local beverages in one of the excellent bars that you will pass) and once at the top you will have commanding views over town and the sea.

Once in town you can choose to sit at one of the many pavement cafes and bars (my wife has a certain passion for the patisseries) and watch the world go by.

Tavira has lots of excellent restaurants and we can recommend lots either in town or in the nearby places. By and large the food is excellent and very reasonably priced.
PATIO is the most fantastic resturant in the town and if you tell Leo that your staying in our Villa he will look after you with the utmost care. The prices are incredably reasonable!

But what really makes these restaurants are that they are generally small and owner run and so you get a very warm welcome and superb service and food. Fresh seafood is in abundance and the choice is helped by most restaurants displaying today’s catch in chilled display cabinets. Meat eaters will not be forgotten however and the steaks and lamb dishes are also very good.

You can not however come to Tavira and not go on the beach, it is SUPERB. It is also very wide and miles long with lots of beach bars and activities. You can either sun bathe with lots of people around or you can walk further down the beaches to quieter areas.
If you have a car you have the freedom to visit lots of other beaches and really lovely villages and towns, some of which are Cabanas, Santa Luzia, Villa Real, Olhao, Castro Marim, Fuzeta and lots more.
Santa luzia is the best in my opinion with a small open Train ride taking 4 minutes to bring you to the beach. kids love it!!

WE DO NOT CHARGE A SECURITY DEPOSIT TO YOUR VISA WHEN YOU BOOK ! Our Villa has had a luxury re-fit in April 2007 to include all new soft leather setees, 32 " Plasma Screen TV with BBC, ITV, SKY etc..new beds, luxury bedding and all new linen, lamps, pictures and all new soft furnishings. If Guests bring their own Sky Cards they can watch all the same channels they get at home. Guests can look out from the large L shaped balcony over the town of Tavira and the sea. But also at the other side of the balcony guests have a view towards the pool area. The Pool is always quite and the barbaque is a fantastic addition to the Villa. See the extra pictures!

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 2 cots, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the Under the stairs if needed.. This gives room for up to 7 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television and home cinema with dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, cycling.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, golf, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a food shop.

There are now 4 Golf courses within 15 minutes. Quinta De Ria Quinta De Cima Benamor and Monte Rei.
