This property offers a wonderful opportunity to stay in a genuine Portuguese Finca which has recently been renovated & refurbished to a high standard.

Please be aware that the photographs were taken while the villa was still closed up following the winter so is not shown at its best in the pictures. You will see patio furniture etc in all the rooms which of course will not be the case when you visit, and beds etc were not made up so again does not show the rooms at their best.

Perfect for Families Casa Jaycia is in a superb location very close to the picturesque village of Burgau with the nearest sandy beach being just a few 100mtrs away and serviced by an excelent beach bar.

There is a superb pool and fully enclosed large outside space so ideal for families with children who love to swim and enjoy the outdoor relaxation. (Again we must re iterate, the pool is wonderful but not fenced so any families with small children must be aware of this as it could definately be a safety hazard for them).

Very comfortably furnished, bright and airy and pleasantly cooler indoors in the hot summer months.

All the principle accomodation with the exception of the kitchen have doors leading onto the balcony which overlooks the large terrace and pool area.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Large Master bedroom with double bed and double glazed doors leading to the balcony overlooking the terrace. Fitted wardrobes and plenty of space for Baby cots if required.

Bedroom 2
Very spacious and equipped with 2 large single beds and again with double glazed doors leading out to the balcony fully fitted wardrobes and plenty of space for further bed or cot if required.

Bedroom 3
Huge bedroom with 3 large single beds, one large double bed settee and a further single bed settee, this could of course be moved and accomodated in bedroom 1 or 2 if required. Again there are double glazed doors leading to the balcony area.

Bathrooms
The principle bathroom is next to the main living space and is superbly fitted with double vanity sinks and vanity units, full size bath, large shower, toilet and bidet.

Bathroom 2
Is accessed from the main passageway and also from the larger of the bedrooms and accomodates and good size shower, wash basin, toilet and bidet.

All bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes & drawers, and beds are very comfortable.

Living Rooms
Open plan Lounge/Dining room is equipped with everything you will need, large table and chairs, comfortable leather seating, TV, DVD, SKY & glazed double doors onto the courtyard.

Kitchen is new and superbly equiped with full cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and wonderful range of cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery for all the family.

 

These have to be one of the best features of this wonderful property!

The front of the property is superbly planted with shrubs and trees with a good sized private drive and gated entrance.

At the rear of the property is a totally enclosed and huge private terrace with views to the countryside all around.
During the summer months this terrace would most definately take over as the living space and the owners have equipped it with this in mind.

The swimming pool is new and situated in the middle of the terrace, it is roughly 4mtrs x 6mtrs and 3mtrs deep at the deep end. (This pool is not fenced so families with small children need to be aware of this as it could be a safety issue).

There is a built in bar-b-q for al fresco dining and plenty of tables and chairs and full length sunbeds. There is a gate leading to the open countryside if you fancy a stroll to the beach just beyond the hill. 

Casa Jaycia is just a 3 minute drive along a scenic road into the Beautiful fishing village of Burgau.

Whilst small the village has 24 restaurants and bars catering for every taste and pocket including the famous Beach Bar. All of these are a 3 minutes drive.

Just down the road from Casa Jaycia is the very popular Restaurant 'D Dinis' which is famous for its fresh fish and wonderful food, if you don't want to walk they will pick you up and drop you off again free of charge.

Burgau also boasts a Newsageants, 2 supermarkets, 2 wine shops, 2 gift shops, Estate Agent, Property Management and its own cash machine. - The Sports centre just outside of the village has a swimming pool, football, squash and tennis courts all of which you can use, and also run a very good children’s activity programme.

Scuba Diving and Surfing schools are in Burgau village and activities take place from the beach regularly.

Burgau is serviced by a good bus service and taxi's, but we most definately recomend car hire for guests staying at this property and are happy to book them for you at the best prices available.

Golfing parties Haven. 3 of the best golf courses less than 10 minutes drive (Floresta Parque, Boavista & Palmares).

Just a few minutes drive in the oposite direction to Burgau is another pretty little fishing village called Salema which again has very good restaurants, a few shops and a lovely sandy beach.

Ten minutes drive to the historical town of Lagos with it's beautiful Marina and many famous sites such as the Slave Market.
Half an hour from the West Coast and less to the port of Sagres and Cape St Vincent the furthest point in Europe. 

This property started out as a Portuguese Finca which has now been superbly and sympatheticaly renovated. It is equipped with everything you will need to make your holiday superb, lots of outside space with plenty of outside furniture including tables and chairs and sunbeds. Ideally this property sleeps 6-7 adults plus children and cots can be arranged as well. The largest of the bedrooms contains 3 very large single beds plus a double bed settee and a single chair bed so can sleep 6 comfortably, but the single chair bed could be easily accomodated in one of the other rooms. Both the other bedrooms are very large and can easily accomodate baby cots as well.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the In the large bedroom but can be moved, 1 double sofa bed located in the In the large bedroom. This gives room for up to 12 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is an old Finca that has been renovated so it is all on one level with just 3 steps onto the main terrace, the bedrooms all have double patio doors onto the Balcony area.

If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
