Orange Garden Cottage is situated on top of a hill with exstensive uninterrupted views over rural countryside to the mountains of Monchique.
The cottage is situated in a well established deeply wooded residential area in a garden of two acres. It is secure and safe with well made up roads and lights.

Car can be hired from Faro Airport or clients can be picked up for a charge and car hire arranged locally in Alvor.
There are two large supermarkets 10 minutes drive away and further supermarkets in Portimao including Lidl & Aldi.

There is Morgado Vineyard 1 km away which has wine tasting & a small shop.
Alvor is a very pretty fishing village, 15 minutes drive, with a first class beach. There are many other beaches nearby.
The historical town of Lagos to the west has many things to see and do.
To the east is Silves an old Moorish town with a well restored castle.
To the north is the Monchique range of mountains with excellent walking.
The rugged west coast, 45 minutes away, is interesting to explore and holds international surfing events. Again beautiful beaches.
