Semi-detached villa in a quiet residential area of Ferragudo, about 15 minutes drive from Praia da Rocha/Portimão, 15 minutes from the beach Praia dos Caneiros, 10 minutes from an water park, and less than 10 minutes from the beaches of Ferragudo. It is 2 minutes to several supermarkets, restaurants, bank, post office, chemist, doctor, grill house, restaurants and fish restaurants, train station and river harbour. If you do not want to drive, you can use the bus stopping 300 meters from the property to go to the beach, there is also a train station 400 m from the house.

With a living area of 100 m2 divided over two floors, property consists of 3 bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin), living/dining room, balcony overlooking the Arade river, 2 bathrooms and an equipped kitchen. One of the double rooms and the living room are equipped with air conditioning.

Bathroom towels (1 set per week), kitchen clothes (2 sets per week) and bed linen (1 set per week) are included in the price. Additional sets available at a supplement charge.

Property is cleaned before arrival and after departure. Cleaning during the stay is available at request (vacuum cleaning, dusting, floor washing and bathrooms cleaning) at the cost of 50% of one day rent. Water, gas and electricity are included in the price. A new gas bottle will always be present in addition to the one in use. In the house guests will find maps with relevant information.

On holiday in Ferragudo, you can forget hustle and bustle. For this is a charmingly sleepy place, all whitewashed lanes, flower-decked steps and bobbing fishing boats which really go fishing! Come the evening, you can pull up a chair at a harbourside restaurant and watch the catch of the day sizzle on an open-air barbecue. Gleaming white buildings topped by warm terracotta pile up the hill like an oversized wedding cake, with the villages church perched on top commanding sweeping views of the estuary below.

Whether this is a late deal or a family summer holiday, a good beach is likely to be near the top of your tick list. Ferragudo obliges with the velvet sands of Praia Grande just around the rocky headland, where the sea wall creates sheltered conditions for windsurfing. Venture a little further along the coast to discover cliff framed coves of honey coloured sand such as Praia dos Caneiros.

Travel to Ferragudo and youll find yourself well placed to explore west to lovely Lagos, where sun dappled squares and pavement cafes beckon, or north to the pine scented Monchique mountains where the air is cooler. Ten minutes drive to the east brings you to Carvoeiro where great restaurants and a low key holiday atmosphere await you. Of course, you may prefer to while away an hour or two sampling the ice cream and pottering around the craft shops in Ferragudos sunlit, cobbled, main square. 

 

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the in th elounge. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.
