Villa Daisy is a traditional villa built around 2 trulli near the historical city of Martina Franca in the centre of Puglia. It is in a peaceful setting 2 minutes from the village of San Paolo. There are many original features such as hand painted glass doors, wrought iron work and two working fireplaces. The beaches of the Adriatic and the Ionian Seas are just 40 minutes drive in either direction and the coastlne is prinkled with bathing resorts.
Villa Daisy sleeps a max of 6 pax in a super king size bed, double bed (en suite in the old forno) and a twin bed (in a trulli). There are all the facilities required including, Dish Washer, microwave, kettle, toaster, DVD player, CD player, etc. There is a library with books, DVDs, CD and games.
There are extensive landscaped gardens with many private areas to sit and read. The large covered portico and patio area has two tables and swing seats and there are sun loungers around the pool.
The villa was refurbished 2 years ago with new bathrooms, kitchen and a conversion of the old Forno into a modern and bright ensuite bedroom.
The villa is owned by a Scottish/Italian family who have created a warm and friendly family home. 

Linen, Towels and beach towels are included. Laundry is changed once a week and initial and final cleaning are included. Any extra cleaning or ironing can be arranged and paid locally. The gardener will clean the pool each morning and maintain the gardens. 

There are many interesting things to do in the area.
Visits to the historical town of Martina France (excellent shopping), Alberobello, Locorotondo, Lecce etc. Horse Riding, Golf, Safari Park, Grotto, Walking in the Nature Reserve, Aqua Park, Cookery Courses, Cinema. It is a 30 minutes drive to beaches on either the Adriatic or the Ionian Coasts.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the villa you will find climbing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, a sports center, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, golf, tennis, a zoo.

Aidan says: "First impressions of the Villa was very good. The journey to the villa was off-putting. Lots of litter along the main road before you turned into the narrow road leading to Villa Daisy. Angelo was there to meet us with a friendly and big smile. He showed us around and we instantly felt at home. We had a problem with the cooker which seemed to "soot" the bottom of pans and it was awful if you got the "soot" on tea towels etc or the kitchen sink. Dishwaster needs looking at - I preferred to wash things by hand in the end which wasnt great. Wather pressure in main house of shower not brilliant needs looking at. Air-conditioning needed in Trullo bed-room where two single beds laid out - children over-heated at night so there were some disturbed nights. The Annex was brilliant the air-conditioning was excellent and the ensuite was excellent too. The gardens were amazing. The sound of the trees as you lay on the hammock was amazing. The pool area was fantastic. Ate out al fresco every night - we bbqd successfully buying meat from the local macellaio and other things from the nearby tiny supermarket which sold everything. People in nearby villas very friendly and non-intrusive. The villas gardens gave lots of privacy. As it was too hot and we were only at Villa Daisy for a week we didnt do much sight-seeing. We did go for a meal in Martina Franca - beautiful town and on our way home to dro p my mother off in Foggia we popped into to Alberbello to see the Trulli - amazing. But theres very much more too see. Definitely come again - we were very relaxed - one more thing! Towels - there needs to be a distinction between beach towels and bath and face towels. We were able to wash them in the washing machine and they would be dry by the next morning. We managed! Thankyou for a wonderful experience. RYRIE FAMILY "
