Distinguished by its tradition, the trips to Alaró Castle, which can be accessed on foot from the Alaró its peak and are remnants of the fortification of this key Christian and Muslim remains of tanks. Castle of Alaro is by far the most popular is in Mallorca. It starts in the small nucleus of the Alaro and climbs up to the castle ruins, until the chapel of the top, from where theyll have a wonderful panoramic view of the city of Palma.

Jim says: "If you want quiet and privacy (which we did) then this is the perfect villa. Very secluded and peaceful, with beautiful views. The down side of that is that it is necessary to drive to get anywhere, the village of Alaro being too far to walk other than for the dedicated, so you have to watch the wine consumption with the evening meal!..The villa itself was surprisingly easy to find despite the rather complicated directions…although arriving at twilight the green gate looked black!. But I would not hire a large car, the entrance to the property is a tight turn between walls into quite a narrow gate. Overall though very happy and contented, it met all our expectations."
