The beach at Alcudia bay is one of the longest on the island. The area has become a very popular place, and is well suited for families with children. The pictures show the part of the beach near the harbor. There are only a few people, because it is in October. In the summer month it is better to be further out the beach of Playa de Alcudia, as it will get crowded in this place. The beach of Alcudia bay starts at Port de Alcudia. Here is a large concentration of hotels, bars, restaurants and shopping. As you move out along the beach, the concentration of buildings are thinning out, and you now find most of the hotels between the beach and the main road that runs between Port de Alcudia and Arta. Once past to road to Sa Pobla , you are entering Playa de Muro. To the right you have the area called Las Gaviotas. Along the beach you find some very smart hotels and apart hotels, with direct access to the beach. Once passed Canal Grande, it is getting more quiet yet.
