About Dolna Banya

Dolna Banya is a village located in Sofia Province in southwestern Bulgaria. 75 km from Sofia and Plovdiv, Dolna Banya is located by the Northern Easter slopes of the Rila Mountain, 18 and 30 km respectively from the ski resorts of Borovets and Samokov. Dolna Banya is known as a resort town, famous for its hot mineral waters, with temperatures of 56.3 C. The area surrounding Dolna Banya is largely agricultural, although hiking trails and skiing in the nearby mountains are easily accessible.

Dolna Banya is a small, but lively village. The square has a vegetable market, bakery, 2 bars, the main one is called Rothmans, with english speaking waitresses. The inside of the village's Bulgarian Orthodox church is covered in beautiful murals, the churchyard located next to a stream. The local stadium is named Vasil Levski, a tribute to the leader of Bulgaria's liberation from the Ottoman Empire and the national stadium of the same name in Sofia.

Dolna Banya is easily accessible by car. There is a daily bus that runs from the Sofia bus depot through other villages in the area. However, buses run more frequently from Sofia to Kostenets (8 km from Dolna Banya. From Kostenets transportation is available every 30 minutes to Dolna Banya. Trains also run about every hour between Sofia and Kostenets.

The apartment is a one bedroomed apartment situated on the first floor with views to the practice area and mountains. The apartment will comfortably sleep 4 adults.

The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 twin. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Sitting Room. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
