El Pajar is a centenary cottage which have been carefully restored and fully equipped with all the comforts (inc. swimming pool) to host up to 4 people. Located between palm and olive trees in the centre of Santa Lucia de Tirajana municipality in Gran Canaria, this is a site privileged by nature, where such beautiful environment blends its footpaths up to the top of the mountains and down through the valleys to the sea.  

El Pajar was built towards the end of XIX century as a complementary building to the main house. In the past, it was used to dry tobacco and, in general ,for the service of the local farming activities. The building was restored in 2006. Today, it is fully equipped with all the comforts for its enjoyment.

 

El Pajar country house finds itself in Santa Lucia de Tirajana Municipality at 680 meters high, half way between the coast and the top mountains. It is an ideal place, not only to enjoy tranquility environment, but also to set as a starting point for excursions to different places of interest in the island, including the international tourist resorts with white sandy beaches of Maspalomas & Playa del Inglés.

In this area, there are sites with archaeological, geological and botanical values. Visits to these places can be complemented with sport activities. Cycling, hiking and climbing can be practised in the highest part of the borough and windsurfing by the coastline.

Terrace & barbecue. Barbecue, exterior table & chairs, access to land and gardens. Services. General. Safe, air conditioning, electric radiator, extinguishers, medical chest, iron, hot water, washing machine and parking. Cleaning. Bedlinen and towels changed twice a week. Cleaning. Common areas cleaned daily (porches, exterior lounge, terrace & access).

The country house comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The country house has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the country house cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The country house has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 3 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this country house.

The country house is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The country house is right beside walking, cycling, mountain biking, historic sites.

Close to the country house you will find swimming, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, horse riding, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the country house you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, flying, golf, tennis, a sports center, a museum, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, a themepark.

Excursions, Cultural Activities, Archaeological Sites, Nature Interests, Local Festivities.

Countryside driving, small typical canarian Villages and good restaurants.
