Casa Blanca is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom fully equipped south facing villa, situated in a quiet location only 5 minutes walk from the nearest beach, shops and restaurants and only a 5 minute drive to the centre of Playa Blanca.
The sun terrace and pool area is equipped with 6 sunloungers, patio furniture and a barbeque and is completely private with views to the island of Fuerteventura.
There is ample car parking space in the villa's private driveway.  

You gain entrance to Casa Blanca via a rear doorway which leads you into the contemporary furnished living/dining room with a sliding glazed patio door which will lead you out to the large sun terrace and 7m x 4m private swimming pool, the terrace has outside lighting and the swimming pool has underwater lighting for the perfect atmosphere with a glass of wine when the sun goes down. The terrace is furnished with patio furniture for outside dining and sun loungers with padded cushions for luxury sun bathing, there is also a barbeque and 2 seater sofa for relaxing evenings by the pool.
Back into the living room you will find 2x 2 seater sofas and 1x 3 seater sofa that quite easily converts into a very comfortable double bed, Satellite TV, DVD player, hi-fi and coffee table to make it a home from home.
Also in the living room there is an extending dining table and 6 chairs should you decide to eat indoors.
From the living room you are led to the hallway from which the Master bedroom leads.
The Master Bedroom is equipped with a kingsize bed with 2x bedside cabinets, 2x large chests of drawers with mirror above and large built in wardrobes with a safe inside.
The master bedroom also boasts an En-suite bathroom with bath, shower, sink unit, WC & bidet.
The hallway also leads to the House bathroom with sink, WC and massaging power shower with 6 heads.
From there the next room along is the 2nd bedroom with twin beds, bedside cabinet, full length mirror and built in wardrobes.
The kitchen is situated to the side of the dining area and is complete with a range of Maple veneered units and solid granite work surfaces. There is a fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, oven, microwave/grill, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board and all the crockery, cutlery, pans and glassware you should require.
From the kitchen there is a stable door that leads to the enclosed Solana (open topped drying area), out here there is an automatic washing machine, washing line and clothes airer.
Bed linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided and are changed on a weekly basis and the villa, swimming pool and garden are cleaned/serviced once a week. 

Playa Blanca, as you will find out during your stay, is the perfect holiday location to unwind, you can stroll along the seafront walkway (just 300 metres to the front of the villa) all the way to the newly built Marina Rubicon.
The first beach that you will encounter is only about 400 metres from the villa but the best beach is the next one along this one is called 'Playa Flamingo'.

After passing 'Playa Flamingo' you will soon be arriving at the harbour and the start of Playa Blanca old town (this is where you can take a ferry across to Fuerteventura) the Armas ferry runs about every 2 hours and takes about 30 minutes to get there but the more exiting Fred Olsen ferry only takes 12 minutes.
Once passed the harbour you can stroll past (or call in) all the seafront bars and restaurants or walk up the steps to explore the town centre.
Already you will have noticed that you haven’t been accosted by any people trying to sell you timeshares or sunglasses and no touts have tried to pull you into a bar that you don’t want to go in, that’s because you don’t get that in Playa Blanca, that’s why we have our second home here.

Once passed the old town you will soon arrive at a lovely beach called Dorada Beach, again with golden sands as are most of the beaches in Playa Blanca.
Next is the newly built Marina Rubicon, we love it there just sitting and relaxing in one of the many bars overlooking the marina and you will be pleasantly surprised by the prices of the food and drinks, they haven’t been bumped up as you usually expect in marinas.
The total distance of your stroll will be about 5 kilometres from our villa to the marina and it will be one of the nicest walks on the island. We tend to walk into the old town seafront on an evening for a meal and a drink or 2 and then take a taxi back home later, you will find a taxi rank just off the roundabout in the old town centre.

If you have a car and fancy a trip to the famous Papagayo Beach it will take about 10-15 minutes. Papagayo Beach is further along from Marina Rubicon but is best reached by car or by boat trip from the harbour. If you decide the car is the best option, go back to the main road at the rear of the villa (the road you came in on) and head back towards Playa Blanca until you reach the ‘CEPSA’ petrol station on the large roundabout. Take the 1st exit (right) at the roundabout the at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit (left), go straight over the next roundabout and then take the 2nd exit (straight on) at the one after that, then just follow the ‘road’ until you reach Papagayo Beach, the road is quite rough and there is a small charge for cars but its well worth a look.
Another worthwhile car trip is to The Timanfaya National Park which is the highest volcano on Lanzarote, the landscape and views are amazing.
There are many supermarkets in Playa Blanca, the nearest to the villa is to the right at the front, go straight on at the roundabout instead of turning back up to the main road (5 minutes walk).
There are 2 large Netto's, 1 Spar and the one we use called Hiper Dino which are only a short drive away in the centre of Playa Blanca. All these supermarkets stock most things and are cheaper than the smaller ones.
 

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Living Room. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The propery is all on one level with no steps, also there are no raised thresholds in doorways. 

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, boat hire, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find golf.

Paula says: "We spent a fantastic 2 weeks in the villa at Playa Blanca. We thoroughly enjoyed having the privacy of a villa, and the flexibility of being able to come and go as we pleased. The villa was modern and spotlessly clean, with good extras such as sky TV/DVD/CD player, along with a comprehensive CD collection. Although the villa was a little out of Playa Blanca, the town centre is easily reached in car or taxi in about 5 minutes, or about an hours leisurely stroll along the sea front promenade. Taxi's are inexpensive, costing no more than 5Euros to get to the centre of Playa, but there are also a good selection of bars and restaurants closer to the villa. The only negative thing we have to say is that the pool was ICE cold. I would have thought that by May it would have warmed up a bit, but this was not the case. We would gladly have paid a bit more for pool heating. All in all, we had a fantastic stay at the villa, and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to family and friends."
