Casa Azucena was finally completed in 2007 to a very high standard. It faces due south and commands a stunning view of the sheer cliff faces on the other side of the valley. These views are constantly changing as the day progresses and the light falls differently on the unspoilt mountain opposite.

t is a 3 storey villa set into the side of the hillside. The bottom floor which is set at the same level as the swimming pool is an apartment which comprises 3 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms, a utility room and a lounge / kitchen which also contains a sofa bed to sleep 1 or 2 people. This room is air conditioned and fans are fitted to all other bedrooms. The kitchen end has fridge, gas hob, electric oven etc. Crockery and cutlery are all available at this level. Washing facilities including a washing machine are housed in the utility room. If you are in a smaller party (up to 8 people) it may be possible to negotiate a reduced rate for use of this level only.
The middle floor houses the main kitchen, dining room, lounge and another room which presently has an inflatable double bed which is deceptively comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave , fridge- freezer, dish-washer and most kitchen utensils. The dining room will comfortably seat 8 people but it is possible to seat more in the naya (enclosed terrace) attached. It is envisaged that during the summer months dining would be on one of the terraces although it is always possible to eat in if preferred. The lounge with stone open fireplace comfortably seats 10 and has TV with Spanish digital channels and DVD player. The stairs then lead to the owner’s suite which not usually available for rent and a further double bedroom and a bathroom.

 

Outside the villa there is a 10 x 5 mtr swimming pool with shower. The swimming pool terrace has ample chairs and loungers and leads to several other terraces both open and covered. These are all set in a landscaped garden with many different varieties of plant and tree. There is a gas barbeque with hot plate available. 

Casa Azucena is situated on the south facing slopes of Mon Duver. The views across the valley to the north side of another mountain are stunning.

The villa comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 4 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 double sofa bed. This gives room for up to 12 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 12 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, walking, mountain biking, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.
