Welcome to our seaside apartment.. Pueblo Latino is set in mature gardens surrounding a pool with toddler area. It has 2 bedrooms and is an easy walk to the several clean beaches and sandy coves of Torre de la Horadada on the Costa Blanca/Calida. There are many local amenities to enjoy including three world class golf courses, watersports and the historic cities of Murcia, Cartagena and Elche only half an hours drive away. The apartment is ideal for family holidays or winter sunshine breaks.

Murcia airport(San Javier) is a ten minutes drive to the south with connections to a number of UK airports including Bristol, Gatwick, Southampton, Exeter. A local taxi can collect you from the airport.

Alicante airport with its extensive range of European flights is just under an hours drive to the north.

Pueblo Latino apartment is south facing with a private balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. It's next to Pueblo Latino plaza which has several restaurants and shops including a Panaderia (bakery) and supermarket.

Pueblo Latino apartment has 2 balconies and a private roof terrace equipped with sun loungers and family sized dining table. It has spacious fitted wardrobes, bathroom with bath and shower, fully fitted kitchen with microwave/oven, electric hob, fridge, washing machine. There are 2 bedrooms and a sitting room/dining room with sofa and CD player.

Torre de la Horadada

Torre de la Horadada located on the southern coast of the Costa Blanca refers to the Torre – the coastal watchtower which dominates the coastline here and which was built in 1580 on the site of an even earlier coastal defence. The community of Torre has emerged around the tower as the centuries have gone by. It is a typically Spanish coastal resort popular with Spanish people for their seaside holidays. Torre has a small selection of shops, banks and supermarkets and you will also find plenty of bars and restaurants many dotted around the popular Pueblo Latino plaza.

The seaside promenade of Torre de la Horadada overlooks a yacht marina and in the summertime there are a couple of excellent Gelaterias (ice cream parlours). You can try the local speciality ‘Horchata’ – a drink or ice cream made from tiger nuts. There is also a small plaza which has a choice of bars and restaurants including Meson Dona Juana which is recommended. A 10 minute stroll takes you back to the apartment.

Local Amenities - Pueblo Latino is a great place for a family holiday having a wide range of activities nearby to occupy all ages.

The apartment overlooks the attractive, shared swimming pool and toddler pool which is surrounded by lawns with palm trees and bougainvillea offering welcome shade in the middle of the day. Children of all ages will enjoy the crystal clear water of the mediterranean sea and a choice of beautiful sandy beaches, with blue flag accreditation for clean water, are within a 5 minute walk. In the summer months impromptu bars selling cold drinks and light meals are set up on the beaches.

There are 2 other good swimming pools nearby, Victoria Playa pool, 5 minutes walk from the apartment is situated beside an excellent restaurant where you can dine whilst watching your children swim. There is also a new heated olympic sized swimming pool in Pilar de la Horadada, 10 minutes drive away, which has a sliding roof for open air swimming in the summer. Lo Pagan a 5 minute drive away has natural salt and mud baths and there are therapeutic hot pools near Murcia open all year round.

Day to day shopping is available in Latino plaza where there is a supermarket, bakery and several boutiques and in the summer season a butcher, grocery and fish shop too. There are plenty of interesting and attractive shops nearby in Pilar and San Pedro with the shopping possibilities in the area being recently enhanced with the opening of a new air conditioned shopping mall, Dos Mares at junction 777 only 10 minutes drive away which is open all day every day. It is a well designed and decorated luxury shopping mall with plenty of attractive boutiques as well as a hypermarket, bowling alley and a cinema and incorporates several fast food restaurants.

Bikes can be hired from an English couple, Mary and Alan Mills who are approximately 5 minutes walk away from the apartment. Bikes are a great way to explore the area with seafront rides on paths through the dunes to the Mar Menor where you can see flamingos and have a free therapeutic mud bath!

There is an internet café 5 minutes walk from the apartment called the Mail Room run by an English couple. It offers Broadband internet access for 2 euros for half an hour which is ideal for picking up your emails or keeping in touch. It’s also a very useful source of local information (you can collect the free English language newspapers which are handy for finding out about local events and TV listings.)

The location of the apartment means you will hear some noise, though not excessive. It has access to a shared south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside swimming, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the apartment you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, flying, walking, cycling, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find mountain biking, scuba diving, historic sites.

graham ,rachel, loz and lol says: "a lovely apartment with every thing we needed ,the girls loved sunbathing on the roof .Set in beautiful gardens(pool was empty but we did go mid march).Location excellent 5 minutes to clean sandy beaches. Resturants,icecream parlors, bars and shops across road in the plaza . More resturants and bars just 5 minutes walk to the open square ( go to Lillies resturant excellent food and friendly service ) . The weather was wonderful to . "
