The apartment is situated within a private gated community boasting water features, fountains and a communal swimming pool which can be viewed from the main balcony. It has its own designated secure parking space in the underground car park which is accessible by lift and stairs.

Situated 30 minutes from Alicante and Murcia airports, Algorfa is a top destination for golf lovers with many new courses only a short drive away. There are several beaches within 15 minutes drive with a blue flag rating. La Mata and Guadamar are particular favourites.

Algorfa enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate. The average temperature is 16 degrees in February and 32 degrees in July.

Alongside the Fontana complex is a municipal park with childrens play area, tennis, basketball, swimming pool and football. The apartment is also adjacent to a large area of orange groves with a view over to the mountains. Algorfa is a typical Spanish village with the central square, bars, cafes, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, small supermarket and bakeries. On a Sunday morning there is an excellent market on the outskirts of the village. There is also the large bustling resort of Torrevieja 15 minutes drive away with its beautiful coastline, shops, bars and restaurants.

The towns of Murcia, Orihuela and Alicante are just a short drive sway and well worth a visit. If the children like theme parks then try Terremitica (45 minutes drive) or Quesada water park for an action packed day out. A car would be desirable but airport pickup/returns and good value taxi runs can be arranged by request.

It was situated within the village which has a range of bars and resturants - recomend The Vestry. Its a good idea to hire a car to get out and about and explore the local area although not essential. A very enjoyable weeks holiday - wish we'd had longer! Highly reccomended."
