The ground floor flat at Calle Mayor is a small and quirky property that has been recently renovated by the current owners.

The outside door opens on to a communal entrance hallway. The front door to the apartment then opens on to a long living / kitchen area at the front of the propery with a small double bedroom and ensuite bathroom at the rear.

Although there are two double beds in the property (one in the bedroom and a sofabed in the living area) the size of the property means that it is probably more suited to 2/3 people.

Please note that because of the location of the property there are no external windows (all light comes from the entrance hall) However this is a good thing as in the summer this means that the property stays nice and cool.

The property is located in the historical old town of Villajoyosa. It is only 5 mins walk from the beautiful quiet beach and some fantastic restaurants and bars.

For those wanting a more lively day / night out Benidorm is only a 15 min drive away. There is an hourly train service that runs along the coast from Alicante to Denia and in parts in very scenic. It is also very cheap and can take you to places such as Terra Mitica and Terra Natura theme parks and Altea. There is also a regular bus service in to Benidorm.

End of rental cleaning of 30 Euros, paid locally, is the only addtional charge.

Please note that the keys to the property are held in the UK and will be posted out to the renter by record delivery. Because of this there is a minimum 7 day period required prior to commencement of the booking for people living in the UK and 14 days for anyone living in Europe.

There is a safe for your use. The property is strictly no smoking. If renters are found to have smoked in the property then money will be taken from the security deposit to cover the cost of extra cleaning.

The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the lounge. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The apartment has television dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 3 in the living room and 3 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking apartment

The location of the apartment means you will hear some noise, though not excessive.

The apartment is right beside a beach, a restaurant.

Ron says: "The property was exactly as advertised. We stayed for 5 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. The only drawback is the lack of anywhere to dry clothes and this becomes a problem when staying for an extended period. It is just a few minutes from the beach - downhill all the way, and just 4 minutes walk from the main shops. There is a little shop just a minute away that sells basic items which is very usefull. The Spanish neighbors are warm and welcoming."
