We have owned the property for 6 years now and love coming here several times a year. The bedrooms and lounge are airconditioned (heating for the winter also), but during the summer, most of the time we spend on the terraces - either downstairs at the front or back or upstairs at the front. We think its ideal for a family of 4 but you do need a car to get around to explore the area.
On site you can use the communal pool from May to September and the tennis courts are available year round.
We generally get about locally on cycles as the supermarket is less than 1 km along the road (fresh baked bread every morning!!) and its nice and flat with no hills no climb! 

There are some great golf courses around here with the most famous (and most expensive!) being La Manga. One of our favourites is the new course at La Sirena in Los Alcazares - bring plenty of balls as 16 out of 18 holes have water on them. There are some great deals on golf especially in the summer months (3 for 2 green fees and twighlight tickets). A good website is Club Murcia where you can pre-book green fees and tee times. 

There are some beautiful places to visit in the area and in six years we are still finding new places. Our favourite eating out spot is in Cabo de Palos where there is a marina and some of the best fish restaurants you will ever eat at. Cartagena is the nearest big city and we normally go by train (30 minutes) from the next village of Los Nietos - costs about 3 euros and saves the hassle of parking. Murcia is about an hours drive away and well worth visiting. North of the airport there is a natural ecological zone where there are hundreds of flamingos and other exotic flora and fauna. 

This is an ideal base for a golfing holiday with so many courses close by, or an idyllic break by the sea. The area is very flat so wlaking and cycling are easy. The beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the house. There is a poolside restaurant and bar and other good restaurants in walking distance. A must visit is the port of Cabo de Palos with amazing fish restarurants around the marina.

The house comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the In the ground floor study. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The house has television video, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The house is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, fishing, walking, cycling, tennis, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the house you will find horse riding, golf.

Within easy reach of the house you will find historic sites.

The house has access to the communal pool and two tennis courts (rental 3 euros/hour).
