2nd Floor apartment with solarium

This new modern holiday home is a first floor well appointed 2 bedroom apartment, consisting of 2 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed and Bedroom 2 being a twin bedded room, both bedrooms are fitted with built-in wardrobes with plenty of shelving space, centre lights with down blowing fans and the windows are fitted with mosquito screens so that widows can be left open whilst asleep to let in the cooler night air.
The bathroom comprises of bath with quality glass shower door, WC, bidet and extractor fan, all with good quality bathroom fittings.
The Living/Dining area consists of a large sofa and chair, dining room table & 4 chairs, with HD flat screen TV/DVD with sky satellite TV for the UK channels, Spanish channels are also set up for the local programmes. A well appointed air conditioning unit to keep you cool. All windows are fitted with mosquito screens to let in the cool night air without letting in the flies.
The Kitchen has all the acccessories that will help make your holiday more enjoyable, an oven & hob, fridge/freezer, washing maching, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, iron/ironing board plus all the usual kitchen assessories and crockery to fill your dishwasher. Plastic eating and drinking assessories for solarium use.
The upstairs solarium is huge 50m2 and partly covered by a pergola to snooze out of the mid day sun, it also has a table and 4 chairs, sun loungers, a BBQ and lighting for those nice late al fresco summer evenings. We have also fitted gates to keep little children safe. All of this and we have not mentioned the beautiful panoramic sea and mountain views with the fantastic sunsets.
There is a large covered terrace outside the front door, again with a table and 4 chairs. The main entrance to the property and terrace is made extremly safe and private by a huge lockable gate.
There is a communal swimming pool just outside the apartment.

After 9.00pm there will be a late check in fee of 20 euro immediately upon arrival. Check in after midnight will be an additional fee of 30 euro. Please try to advise prior to arrival if you are arriving late. (payable to keyholder)
NOTE RE: £200 REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT
As you would expect, you will find the apartment clean and tidy. The rental charge does not include cleaning therefore if the apartment is not left clean and tidy as found on arrval an amount for cleaning will be deducted from your refundable deposit. (£50.00)

El Pinar de San Gines (The Pines) is nestled into the mountainside, in the unspoilt fishing village of La Azohia. It is less than 500 metres from the many unspoilt beaches ranging from shingle to fine sand.
La Azohia itself is situated in a beautiful bay sheltered by surrounding hills, it is located in the southern Costa Calida region of Spain, 10 minutes from Puerto de Mazarron and 20mins from Cartagena with beautiful views over the bay of Mazarron. This is a typical tranquil fishing village with a scattering of restaurants, cafes, and traditional Spanish tapas bars and remains largely untouched by tourism.
La Azohia has a new palm tree lined promenade which stretches for two miles along the beautiful cove, which affords the most leisurely walks on the flat. The bay is overlooked by mountains at the rear that eventually gives way to the gentle ripple of the blue warm crystal clear waters of the medditeranean sea. The sea and beaches here are considered amongst the cleanest in Spain and have had the blue flag status for many years.

Many of these can be found locally, some you will need your own transport.
For the less energetic (subject to time of year) there are many Fiestas, Jazz Festivals and Rock Concerts.

Cartagena: Explore Cartagena (20mins) an old naval town with a very exciting marina which receives some of the largest and newest luxury liners cruising the med, you will also see the smallest and oldest submarine in the world on show. The marina has many bars and cafes to while away the day. If you must!! Shopping is great with many large stores and fashion boutiques. If its history you are after then visit the maritime museum. This is a wonderful city well worth a day out.
Puerto Mazzarron: 10 mins down the road is the bustling resort of Puerto Mazarron you will find all you need for a good night out, (whatever floats your boat!!!!). In the day time there are great beaches, cafes and resturants available.
Mar Menor: 45 mins away are the wonderful beaches of the Mar Menor a very large lagoon adjacent to the med. The sea is wonderfully safe and warm and very popular in July and August. The mud flats (Lo Pagan. 60 mins) where you can cover yourself with muddy minerals to ease those aches and pains and then jump into the warm waters of the Mar Menor to clean up, a wonderful experience.
There a many places to visit: National parks, Water parks, orange and lemon plantations,
Feel the need to pampa yourself? Then 5 mins away is the Hotel La Azohia with its olympic size pool, gym, spa and beauty saloon, which are avialable at a small cost but well worth it!!.
If this sounds all to stressful, do what most do on The Pines relax and enjoy the sun and the idylic lifestyle.

Tom says: "When we arrived at the appartment we were both overwhelmed with the veiws from the huge roof terrace along with the fresh and welcoming atmosphere of the complex itself. The apartment is situated in a great location and only a short drive for visiting other lovely towns. We both found the apartment accomodated our needs and the addition of a wonderful roof terrace and bbq meant we could relax and enjoy eating in too. We both had such a lovely holiday and are already planning our next visit out to the apartment. "
