Velas Blancas (White Sails) is ina quiet, peaceful, secure location, overlooking a 27 hole professional golf course designed by Gary Player. The oldest course in Almeria, renowned for its high quality, it is open all year round. With views also to the sea and the second largest marina in Spain, the lovely blue flag beaches are a 10 minute walk away with all the facilites you require. There are a wide variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes from authentic spanish tapas bars and restaurants through to seafood, chinese, italian and gourmet food overlooking the stunning marina. Almerimar is a golfer's paradise with several other courses only 20 to 30 minutes away by car. The apartment is also only one and half hours from the the ski resort near Granada in the wonderful Sierra Navada, the sceney is magnificant the roads are excellent. It is quite possible to have a one day skiing excursion with the resort open from 9.00am to 5.00pm each day all equipment can be hired.






 

The apartment is on the ground floor with terraces to the front and rear. The rear terrace is south facing and looks directly onto the swimming pool, plenty of terrace furniture and bbq facilities.

The interior has been professionally designed, with a fantastic decorated interior and a high specification of amenities. The sitting room has 2 three seater sofas with
LCD satellite tv and dvd player, the bedrooms are large with fitted wardrobes and one bedroom having its own terrace and the other a picture window. The bathroom has a bath, shower, bidet, wc. The kitchen is fully fitted with ceramic hob and oven ,microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, coffee maker, toaster.

The south facing terrace is fully equiped with terrace furniture and bbq facilities for those lovely warm spanish
evenings.
Private parking is accessed through security gates. 

Plenty of boats for hire for sailing or fishing ,or for something a bit more adventurous there is also water skiing and wind surfing.

Plenty of shops in Almerimar and surrounding area, with Copo shopping centre a few minutes drive away. and the Grand Plaza with its many designer shops in Roquestas de Mar 20 minutes away.

The ancient city of Almeria is well worth a visit, with its beautful old town, tapas bars, harbour and fortress, there are several museums also only 30 minutes drive away.

Visit the natural park at Caco de Gata with lovely beaches and stunning scenery,only 40 minutes away.





The beautiful town of Granada with its many tapas bars, and of course the eighth wonder of the world the fantastic Alhambra Palace is only a 90 minute drive, not to be missed..

Also visit mini Hollywood 30 minute drive, famous for its desert settings for the Clint Eastwood Spaghetti westerns, also the film location for Indiana Jones and Lawrence of A
