This family owned apartment is located within the Al Andalus Resort urbanisation in Puerto Rey, near Vera, on the Costa Almeria, in Spain. It is a gated community with electronic entry points and secure & covered off road parking.

The apartment is air conditioned and tastefully furnished to a high specification. The apartment offers one double bedroom (one double bed) with built in wardrobe, one bathroom with bath/ shower & bidet, a fully fitted kitchen and a large lounge/dining area which is furnished with a sofa bed. There is a private outdoor service area for storage and for the drying of washing. Entertainment is provided for those times when you would rather just chill out and consists of UK satellite TV, DVD and PS2.

The complex is well designed and landscaped with regular garden maintenance carried out to a high standard. The large communal outdoor pool and separate children’s pool are in a sunny spot and fenced off with a locking gate for safety. Inside the pool area is paved and grassed, an ideal place for those wishing to soak up the warm Mediterranean sun! For those holidaying in the cooler seasons the complex also offers an indoor swimming pool. There is a small play area with swings and rides suitable for younger children. 

Golf, golf and some more golf!!! Although not located on a golf course, there are four in the near vicinity. All are within a 20 minute drive and all accept day use without being a member.

For those people that dont wish to be governed by the golf course, there is plenty to do in the local area.

There are blue flag beaches at Vera Playa and Mojacar Playa which are suitable for children of all ages. Windsurfing, water-skiing and diving are all available. Chiringuitos (beach café/bars) can be found dotted along the beach and behind the newly-built cycle paths and walkways.

There is a large water park with slides and pools just 5 minutes drive from the apartment.

Vera is the nearest town only 5 minutes drive away. Vera is a large, traditional Spanish town - look out for the market on Saturday mornings, great for bargains!

Close by is the historic Moorish town of Mojacar which is only a 15 minute drive away. Just before you reach Mojacar is the fishing town of Garrucha, where there are more great seafood restaurants than you can shake a stick at! Also for the more energetic there is a fabulous Go Kart circuit

The Valle del Este golf course has a beach club which is open to the public. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and the service is good. There is also a swimming pool in the grounds that anyone can use free of charge, so long as you are a paying customer at the club, otherwise there is a small fee to pay.

The Al Andalus Resort complex is close to all amenities and the beach is only a few minutes drive away. The Vera Water Park is also very close, which is a perfect day out for the family! There is a choice of Championship Golf Courses around the area, and for those who like to explore further a field the neighbouring areas of Garrucha, Vera and Mojacar are all well worth a visit.

The Costa de Almeria is the warmest and sunniest region in the whole of Europe, so it is no wonder you have chosen this area as your holiday destination! With over 320 days of sunshine a year, it is hardly surprising that this region is becoming a very popular place to both live and visit. The Costa de Almeria is conveniently situated on the southeastern Mediterranean Coast and is easily accessible from the airports of Almeria, Alicante & Murcia.

Vera Playa is growing into a very popular holiday destination, with a great deal of new properties being erected to meet the tourist demand. Vera Playa is ideally located close to the Water Park and neighbouring Golf Courses. It also benefits from a beautiful and unspoilt 8km stretch of white sandy beach, as well as offering shops, restaurants and bars. Vera also has a blue-flag beach area reserved purely for nudists. 

Yes. The complex is in a largely undeveloped area of Spain and public transport links are sketchy at best. From the complex you are able to walk to the beach, shops, supermarket, restaurant and other activities within a reasonable time. In peak summer, there is a bus service to local towns which runs into the early hours.

If you want to make the most of discovering the Spanish countryside or to use the golf facilities, a car is essential. There are plenty of activities to be had within a 20 minute drive of the complex. The mountains are only a 2 hour drive away. Imagine waking in the morning and swimming in the sea, driving to the mountains for a day on the piste and returning in the evening for a beach BBQ!!

Just remember though that hire car companines tend to operate on a return the vehicle with an empty tank, not a full tank as we are used to in the UK!! If in doubt, check with your hire company. 

Although within the advert it is stated that the apartment is suitable for elderly and children under 4 years of age, you should be aware that this is a second floor property and there are no lifts available. The stairwell is also currently unprotected and may therefore be unsuitable for young children. If potential customers are happy ascending by stairway to the second floor and you feel that the un-gated stairway is not a child issue, we are more than happy to accept your booking.

The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Lounge. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing patio area. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside swimming.

Close to the apartment you will find a beach, water skiing, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, golf, tennis, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find scuba diving.
