with the mountains at its back, and sea at its feet,pozo del esparto has a unique charm. lovely selection of natural beaches, for all types of water sports, and immense areas for walking and hiking, this little hideaway would appeal to people who love nature.it is ideal for families with the sea just a 40 metre walk away, and quiet roads for children to walk. and also ideal for golfers who need somewhere to stay whilst enjoying the facilities of the numerous golf courses Pozo is a quiet spanish village, giving guests the opportunity to practise their spanish and mix in with local people. there are 3 restaurants in the village and a beach bar, plus a bread van which calls around the village every day and a small shop in the summer months. Just 3 mins by car is the town of San juan des los terreros with supermarkets, chemists ,restaurants, bars, and banks. further afield are other towns with all facilities including the spanish town of Aguilas with its beautiful square, and lovely harbour.
There are 3 golf courses near by including the well known Desert Springs, in a wonderful setting with facilities for the day guest to swim and use the restaurants. Not too far away is an Aqua Park and a Gocart facility.There are scuba clubs to hire equipment or to have lessons, and all opportunities for fishing and sailing.The sea is sparkling and clear.
