Casas Karen, consists out of a group of 6 lovely morish houses and 2 Chozas (very typical and authentic in this areas of La Janda, built out of straw which Karen renovated to make them for you as a living-space of today. Therefore you can join a real African/Morish atmosphere in combination with the western necessities we are used to. Very romantic..... and a big adventure !

The houses and chozas can be found on 6000 m2 private land, at the foot of the Natural Park of La Breňa (forrest wood with pinetrees and a nesting place for seagulls, kestrels, owls and buzzards) and just 10 minutes walking from the nice white and sandy beaches of Los Caňos de Meca at the blue and fresh Atlantic Ocean : A wild and unspoiled coast of Southern Spain, Andalucia, in the province of Cadiz.

Apart from the chozas, also each house has a very special character, all nice decorated by Karen herself, with an andalucian touch of which now we like to introduce you to :

Estudio Trafalgar : Romantic 1 bedroom house (sleep 3) with very traditional terrace overlooking the property and countryside, with wooden diningtable..

Very cozy! Living room with wood burning stove and build in sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchen, with wooden breakfast bar adjoining the living room and own bathroom.
Steep wooden steps leading up to lovely open upstairs double bedroom, with a large window view to the countryside (very romantic...).

Outside the front door is also a view of the countryside and has a sunshade and hammock space.
 

 

The country house comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double and 1 cots. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the Livingroom. This gives room for up to 3 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The country house has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The country house has dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only.

There is room for 3 in the living room and 3 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this country house.

The country house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a east facing garden, a east facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The country house is right beside a beach, swimming, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, a restaurant.

Close to the country house you will find horse riding, golf, scuba diving, historic sites, shopping areas, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the country house you will find flying, a museum, a theatre/cinema, a themepark.

Dancing: together with authentic Flamenco Shows or Festivals in the local cafe(s)
