Roof-top studio with views in quiet historic quarter of Vejer.
Experience the exquisite sense of escaping from it all but knowing that you really are in another world….that of the theatrical, quintessential Andalucian village, Vejer , with some of the best beaches of Europe to explore and with a backdrop of inspiring panoramic views in a warm, sunny climate.
Casa Campana is located on the flat roof -top (azotea) of one of the oldest houses in the old walled historic quarter of Vejer which alsocontains the church and the castle. The close presence of the church with it´s bell tower, (along with the cries of falcons), gives the house a special tone. There are beautiful views and it is very pleasant to experience this privileged position of being up, above street- level, following the flight of the circling flocks of homing pidgeons or watching the vultures riding the air currents above.
Casa Campana and it´s adjoining partner, Casa Dulce, are rustic in style and maintain the maximum of their original qualities.
One enters Casa Campana just at the top of a large wooden staircase that leads out onto the azotea. The door opens into the kitchen area. Next to this there is the wooden raised platform area where the main sleeping quarters are situated. Opposite, above the kitchen there is another secondary sleeping area. The bright salon with its large windows and balcony is situated at the other end of the house and has a futon sofa and single bed as alternative sleeping arrangments.

Vejer
Vejer is a great place to explore. It is built on 3 hills and is covered with labirinthian streets .Follow it´s perimeter and see the marvellous views of the surrounding agricultural land and the entrance to the Straits of Gibraltar with the mountains of Morocco behind.

Parking is very restricted so it is advisable to park in the car-park and walk to the house(approx. 5 mins walk). However it is normally perfectly possible to drive up to the church, drop off and then find suitable parking.
