The port of Cabopino is very unique and has been protected from the over development which has occurred on parts of the Costa del Sol. Each apartment is different and therefore Cabopino retains its own individual character. There is a real community feel to the place and the whole resort has been maintained to a very high standard. Residents are a mixture of those who live there all year around and those who only holiday there. There are many Spanish owned apartments, which keep a local feel to the place. 

The main attraction for a visitor to Cabopino is the fact that you have everything you need for a wonderful holiday within 2 or 3 minutes walk. Step outside the apartment and walk down the hill and you are on the portside. There you will find yachts and boats and numerous restaurants and bars. All the bars and restaurants are kept to a very high standard with welcoming staff. There is no need to take a car on an evening out, allowing the whole of the group to enjoy a holiday drink and stroll home afterwards. The restaurants on the port cater for all tastes, from authentic Spanish tapas, to Italian, Chinese or Indian.
The beach is also a moments stroll from the apartment, right next to the port, allowing you to enjoy a day on the beach and even giving you the opportunity to pop home for lunch on the balcony, before returning to soak up some more sun or take a walk along the miles of beach available.
 

The beauty of staying in an apartment at Cabopino is that as a resident you are entitled to use the private swimming pools on the port. There are two pools available, one over the road from the apartment and one down on the beach. Sun beds are provided free of charge and there are lifeguards in attendance. The pool next to the beach is the most popular, allowing you to have the quiet poolside surroundings but also access to the public beach, along with its beach bars.
There are a real mix of people at Cabopino, from couples and young families to the elderly, with many returning year after year to holiday on Cabopino.
If you do want to stray from the port, there is a high quality golf course within 2 minutes drive and Marbella town is just 20 minutes by car where you can sample the atmosphere of the lovely old town area. Alternatively you might want to see how the other half live and spend a night in the playboy paradise of Puerto Banus which is also only 20 minutes drive.
