The villa is set in a fabulous location with breathtaking views down the mountain with only conifer trees behind in the conservation area.

Although in a quiet location the villa is by no means isolated and is less than two kilometres away from supermarkets, shops, restaurants banks etc

Peace and relaxation if required can be the order of the day or if preferred take advantage of the many activities the area has to offer. There are activities to suit all tastes from chilling and relaxing to being the active pepsi max person!

If you enjoy walking or horse riding then take advantage of the organised walks and rides through the surrounding area.

Booking Durations:
The villa can be booked for as many days as required. It is not mandatory to book in weekly slots. You decide! Other villas are available in this group should you wish to go as a large party. Just ask.
 

Although a car is recommended it is certainly not a must. If you like travelling and exploring there is a bus at the entrance to the villas that will take you up to Mijas and beyond or alternatively down to Benalmadena where you can hop on a train and explore all along the Costa Del Sol coast. Your only decision is which way to go, left towards Puerto Banus, Marbella and Gibraltar or right towards Malaga City.

Buses are cheap and around 2 euros will take you down to the marina at Benalmadena. The buses that go passed the villas go up to Mijas one way and end at Torremelinos or Malaga the other way.

Taxis are good value and a trip into Mijas with an abundance of typical Spanish restaurants costs around £5.
 

2kms away is the beautiful Spanish village of Mijas, which on this ever changing coast line has managed to retain its rustic charm. Donkeys walking along cobbled streets and numerous fiestas taking place reflect how life here has remained as traditional as ever.

For those who require more hustle and bustle the resorts of Benalmadena and Fuengirola are both within a 5 minute drive away. Both these resorts have fantastic beaches with sand that stretches for miles. The Port at Benalmadena is a definite visit and a hive of activity that evolves throughout the evening and accommodates all tastes from early evening to the early hours of the morning.

The Costa del Sol is a Mecca for sports activity enthusiasts centered on what has become known as the ‘Costa del Golf’. The region boasts numerous courses add these to tennis clubs, equestrian courses, sailing clubs, diving and walking.

Inland from the terrific beaches and ports, with their fantastic range of restaurants and shops, you can see the natural beauty of the Andalucian countryside and Sierra Nevada mountains, Moorish towns, parks and gorges, all there for you to explore. For the more adventurous, see the sights by hot air balloon or try your hand at
abseiling, white water rafting or canoeing.

The Costa del Sol does not forget children. If they have had enough of the pool and beach then entertainment is never far away with a sea life centre plus water and amusements parks close at hand. For older children 15 minutes away is a fun park with go carts and scarier theme park rides. Towards the airport there are also designer shopping outlets and an English speaking cinema with eating places like Pizza Hut.

And don’t forget that trip to Gibraltar - great for duty free shopping, an unbeatable view from the top of the Rock (with the famous monkeys) and unforgettable boat trips - a terrific day out.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Richard says: "Having booked numerous holidays previously and always been satisfied, I can honestly say that on this occasion this property and the people involved exceeded our expectations. The property was spotless. There were 4 adults and 3 children in my party and there was plenty of room. The setting is magnificent, in fact one of my favourite parts of the holiday was the early evening drink on the balcony. Sometimes it was to decide difficult which of the balconies to use! The pool looked fantastic, only my wife and oldest son were crazy enough to swim in it - we went 12-19 Feb 09! To summarise, I recommend booking this property without a doubt."

The pool is indeed lovely, obviously at any time of year it seems! I just didnt realise there was another Mum as mad as me who gets dragged into water by their sons any time of the year, no matter what the temperature!

I too find that one of my favourite pass times is relaxing on a balcony with a glass of wine. I could look at the views and the garden for hours. I love the garden at night with the lights on as the lights shine through the different coloured foliage, it looks very pretty.

In terms of space, we have a number of people who rent the villa for two families as the villa is quite spacious. We also have two cots available so two families of four with young children are easily accommodated.

I love to get reviews and get pleasure knowing that other people enjoy the villa and area as much as we do.
