Casa La Era is a beautiful traditional Andalucian house. It is in lovely surroundings, but is only a five minute walk away from the lovely, friendly village of Villanueva De La Concepcion. Within short walking distance there are traditional bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and other facilities. Casa La Era is ideally located for guests to enjoy the lively, festive traditions of Villanueva, a typically vibrant Andalucian village. El Torcal National Park, with its unique natural limestone sculptures and various walking routes, lies above Villanueva and is 10 minutes away by car. Beyond El Torcal the beautiful historic town of Antequera with its many ancient churches, distinctive architecture and prehistoric caves is a 25 minute car journey from Villanueva. El Chorro Gorge, Cordoba and the White Towns, and further afield, Seville, Granada and Gibraltar are day trips by car.

The house has traditional beamed ceilings, and furnishings typical of Andalucia. The covered terrace outside has antique farm implements, and overlooks the tradional threshing floor. The garden has mature fruit trees and plants, including roses. The pool is surrounded by screening for privacy and flowers: a very pleasant place in which to swim and relax. 

This enchanting house has traditional beamed ceilings, and furnishings typical of Andalucia. The covered terrace outside has antique farm implements, and overlooks the traditional threshing floor. The front door of the house, which is set back in the a covered terrace, opens into the living room, where there is a comfortable sofa, tv etc., and open fire-place; the dining table and chairs are on the far side of the room. The window has an external shutter, or persiana, to keep the room cool. Another outside door opens onto the large covered terrace referred to above.
The kitchen, which is a room off the living room, is well equipped with modern items such as a fridge-freezer, and microwave, but still retains the feel of a traditional farmhouse kitchen. Both bedrooms have double wardrobes, and are reasonably large and airy. The master bedroom has air-conditioning/heating.

 

The house is fenced and surrounded by a large garden with plenty of parking space. The pool has a fence around it to provide privacy and to protect young children from accidents. From the house there are marvellous views towards El Torcal and of other mountains and hills. There is little traffic noise to disturb guests.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a east facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the villa you will find climbing, tennis, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, sailing, boat hire, fishing, horse riding, golf, a sports center, a museum, a theatre/cinema.
