3 Bedroom townhouse
Our townhouse is just 300 meters from Bahia de Casares (Casares Bay) a beautiful, sandy, unspoilt stretch of coast. It has 3 Bedrooms and is designed to an excellent standard with quality modern furniture, spread over 3 floors. It is fully air conditioned. It is in a private gated development that has 18,000m2 gardens and two communal swimming pools. It is peaceful and really is a great place to relax, yet only minutes away is the larger resort of Estepona and the beautiful port of Duquesa, where there are many excellent restaurants for eating out. This house is perfect for relaxing or using as a base for exploring the area and is great for golf with more than 60 golf courses stretching along the Costa del Sol. It borders onto the new Dona Julia and El Finca Cortesin golf complexes and is only a very short distance from Duquesa golf course. There is a large sun terrace with table and chairs that benefits from all day sun and enjoys the last of the sun as it disappears over the hills.

You can also park right at the door, so no long walks across the development with your bags!!
Golf
There are now more than 60 Costa del Sol Golf Courses stretching from Sotogrande in the west to the lesser known Velez Malaga in the east and they all have one thing in common - the fantastic sunny and dry climate allowing golfers to play all year round. For those who are used to playing golf in the cold and wet of a northern European winter it will be a real luxury to play on a Costa del Sol winter's day.

There are Costa del Sol golf courses to suit all levels of players and they are set in some beautiful surroundings, many with views of the sea and mountains.

The new Dona Julia golf resort immediately neighbouring Jardines des Caseras, forming part of the upcoming 5* Hyatt Hotel complex

San Roque Golf Club. Between Jerez and Marbella, almost at the tip of the Iberian peninsula, lies one of Europe's most exclusive golfing Country Club. Here, in the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja, the peace and natural beauty of Andalucia is complemented by a stylish retreat and an 18-hole championship golf course
Real Club de Golf Sotogrande. Ranked as one of the best courses in the 100 Greatest Courses in the World by the GolfWeb Editorial Staff. Holes 7 and 12 have special relevance, as are considered two of the best holes in the World by GOLF MAGAZINE's publishers.

La Cala Golf Club is recognised by The Royal Federation of Spanish Golf as being the biggest golf resort in Spain.La Cala golf club features three breathtaking 18 hole courses in a spectacular setting. According to course designer Cabell Robinson, all 3 courses are very different in character, giving golfers a great choice of options.

And many more including...

Marbella Golf & Country Club, Cabopino, Rio Real, Monte Mayor, Atalaya, El Paraiso, Mihas, Estepona, La Duquesa, Valderama, Miraflores, Santa Maria, Los Flamingos

... to name but a few

Local Area
Duquesa
Puerto de la Duquesa really is the Costa Del Sol's best-kept secret. Although within easy reach of the airports of Malaga and Gibraltar, La Duquesa seems like a thousand miles away from the throng of the holiday resorts and offers an unparalleled quality of life in Southern Spain.

Puerto Duquesa is only a few minutes away from Estepona and offers good restaurants, bars and boutiques. It is charming and part of the attraction is that it is more peaceful than other Marinas on the coast. In the summer the port comes alive in the evenings with plenty of bars and restaurant offering live music and entertainment.

There are numerous small shops to support the needs of the sailing community plus local residents and visitors. Duquesa Business Centre in Galerias offers business and Internet facilities. In July and August there is a tourist market in the port on a Saturday evening.

Estepona
Estepona, traditionally a small Andalusian fishing port, is now one of the fastest growing and most popular destinations on the Costa Del Sol. Despite its recent growth, Estepona has managed to preserve its peaceful town atmosphere. Estepona port was built in 1977 and is equipped with all modern facilities. There are also a variety of sport amenities in Estepona port along with dolphin spotting trips and fishing excursions.
The beach in Estepona, named La Rada, is one of the best on the Costa Del Sol and the only one to be awarded the Blue Flag Award. The award was granted in recognition of the beach's cleanliness, safety and facilities. There is also a quiet cove named Playa de Cristo, which is ideal for children due to its shallow, safe waters.

Estepona is approximately an hour drive from Malaga airport and is easily accessible by the N340 motorway or the new toll road. The town planners have successfully combined modern architecture with old, completely avoiding the construction of high-rise apartment blocks, which are a feature in more established Costa towns.

Gibraltar
When you first see the Rock of Gibraltar, whether it is from the air, from the sea or from either the Costa Del Sol or the western end of the Bay, it is its impressive stature, towering isolated above the surrounding countryside, that causes the greatest impact. It has had this effect on people for many thousands of years. Gibraltar is a beacon which signals the position of the Strait of Gibraltar, the narrow neck which separates Europe from Africa and provides the only link between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
The frontier is at La Linea, it is recommended to leave your car on the Spanish side of customs, by a meter on the side of the road, as customs and queuing is time consuming with a car. In ‘Gib’ you can see the sights, take in the British history and buy your booze and cigarettes very cheaply, or just stroll around the pubs, grab your pints of ale, fish and chips, duty free shopping.
The English Bobbies on the beat all contrast with Spanish traditions and don’t really seem to fit in. A cable car runs from just the other side the of the town to the top of the Rock, there you will meet Gibraltar's most famous residents the Barbary apes and see more birds than ever before!
Marbella
World famous as a holiday destination since the 1960´s, Marbella is regarded as the Costa Del Sol's jewel in the crown. Its unique allure has produced a style and character quite distinct from other coastal towns. Marbella offers both the quintessentially Spanish qualities of its Old Town alongside the modern landmarks of designer labels and contemporary infrastructure.

Marbella has a permanent population of 100,000 but this figure increases dramatically during the summer months. The protection of La Concha mountain in the Sierra Blanca affords Marbella its own micro-climate, which guarantees sunny weather most of the year with the exception of mild winter conditions from November to March.

Marbella´s old town centres around the Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Square), which features a wide variety of traditional and modern restaurants. The narrow streets which meander from this point are chock-full of shops selling everything from Moroccan rugs to summer sandals. Venture out on to Marbella´s main street, Ricardo Soriano and designer names such as Versace, Gucci and Escada are to be found.
The Marbella coastline enjoys some of the best beaches on the Costa Del Sol. Many a local resident enjoys a morning walk or even jog along Marbella´s Paseo Maritimo (promenade) where many traditional Spanish restaurants are also located. The nightlife in Marbella is electric, ensuring those who visit enjoy the pleasures of the night as much as the alluring sun during the day.

Puerto Banus
Many have defined the port as the pennant of the Mediterranean and of our city. Taking a walk along the port we will have the chance to see some of the most impressive yachts in the world and we will also be overtaken by some of the latest models in cars from all over the world. The good-looking people, the famous stroll around Banus in a relaxed way, enjoying the magnificent restaurants that surround the port. The small streets inside the port are crowded with pubs and discotheques that contrast with the new avenues, squares and Commercial Centers being built now and that the present municipal Governing Team will finish with a large garden area (in front of Cristamar).
From Marbella we can access Puerto Banus by road, (10 minutes San Pedro direction), or by sea,
as there are boats that carry passengers from the Leisure Port in Marbella to Puerto Banus regularly
and at moderate prices.

Sotogrande
Sotogrande is custom built to cater for some of the world's most luxurious seafarers. Consequently, the marina here is possibly the best on the Costa Del Sol. Far removed from the mountain pueblos of Andalucia and the bustle of other coastal towns, Sotogrande is the resort to relax in and enjoy. The glorious weather and beautiful surroundings make it a pleasure.

Sotogrande is located south of Marbella, approximately an hour's drive from Malaga airport. The marina was built in 1987 and is equipped with the standard modern facilities such as electricity, telephone, fresh water and television. It currently has 548 berths but there are plans to extend this number to 1052.

Sotogrande offers a variety of outdoor sports including horse riding, tennis, paddle tennis, fronton and sailing. There are also three golf courses in Sotogrande; Almenara Golf, Sotogrande Golf and the world-renowned Valderamma Golf Course, where the Ryder Cup was hosted in 1997.

Sotogrande is a small town and is relatively quiet throughout the year. It is a popular destination for Spanish holiday-makers and is therefore busier in July and August. Despite its small size, there is a good selection of quality restaurants in Sotogrande, serving international and native dishes.
The beaches in Sotogrande are secluded and offer a peace and quiet that is often difficult to find on the Costa Del Sol.

Casares
Named after the Roman Emperor Julius Caesar, this beautiful Spanish village is located only 9 miles from the coast. At the top of the town, about 1,400 feet above sea level, you will find a medieval fortress as well as a church, not to mention a breathtaking view. And if you're looking for a bite to eat and some drinks, visit the village plaza.

Manilva
Manilva is a small Spanish village whose economy is based primarily on agriculture and fishing. Attractions include well-preserved Roman baths (with health-giving waters you can still bathe in), the 17th century Church of Santa Ana and the 18th century Castillo de la Duqesa.
