By Air - Flight time circa 2 hours from Birmingham, East Midlands, Luton or Stansted Airports to Barcelona (50 minutes drive) and Reus (10 minutes drive). Charter and scheduled services available all year round with Ryanair (Luton/Stansted/Liverpool to Reus), Bmibaby (Birmingham to Barcelona), Thomson (Coventry to Barcelona) & First Choice (Birmingham to Reus). Prices vary by month, season and availability but they are rarely more than £150 return with an average of less than £100 and special deals sometimes less than £30! By Road - Travel time with petrol and food stops circa 20 hours, Birmingham to Vilafortuny or you can stop overnight in many attractive places in Middle to Southern France such as Lyons, Montpelier and Dijon. Return cost of road travel is circa £550 including petrol, ferry/chunnel & motorway tolls. Expensive if you are on your own but economical for a family especially bearing in mind that you will have your car with you in Spain reducing any car hire charges to zero. Petrol and diesel prices in Spain are roughly two thirds of UK cost. Car hire is inexpensive from £90 per week.

Water sport (all along the coast), Golf (3 championship courses within 20 minutes drive), the sensational Port Adventura Theme park (owned by Universal Studio's and the second largest in Europe to Eurodisney, only 10 minutes drive away), Costa Caribe Waterpark next to Port Adventura, Aquapolis Waterpark in La Pineda (10 minutes drive), Cambrils (Stylish and Chic resort with Tapa's Bars and Fish Restaurants aplenty), Old Salou Town (traditional Catalan town with restaurants & Tapa's Bars - great places to watch a Barcelona v Real Madrid derby football match), Salou Touristica (relatively new part of Salou with its one mile strip full of bars, cafe's & clubs of all nationalities open until 6am - not to be missed but perhaps not 2 nights on the trot!), Barcelona in the North (only 50 minutes drive away or 90 minutes on the train from Salou or Cambrils - a city said by many as one of the best in the world), Valencia in the South (just over 2 hours drive or 2 hours on the train - full of life and local history) and La Liga Football. The Spanish Premiership with Barcelona, Valencia, Vilareal, Espanyol & Zaragoza all within striking distance. 

The apartment comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 2 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Living Room. This gives room for up to 6 people.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Graeme says: "Property was very nice, clean - and met all our requirements. Stuart was very helpful, and made himself available if we were to need him at any point. Only downside to the booking, was the time of departure. I had previously requested that we be given longer to stay, as our flights were at night. This was okayd by the owner - however when we arrived, we were told there was a problem - and ended up having to leave he appartment earlier than expected, as there had been a double booking."
