La Mazucar Cave House is in a small tranquil spanish village in Southern Spain where we enjoy approx 320 days of sunshine a year. The property is newly refurbished and has lots of traditional features throughout and is very spacious with modern decoration and furniture. It provides everything you need for a relaxing holiday. There is a secret internal courtyard off the main bedroom with table and chairs and also a patio to the front with table and chairs and barbecue. There is also use of a hot tub belonging to the owners on site. The village has 3 grocery shops, butcher and baker who deliver fresh bread to your door. There is a doctors, small chemist and post office. In the townhall you can make use of free internet monday - friday 9.00am - 2.00pm.
Bacor is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday where you can enjoy the beautiful and peacefull surroundings and also visit the many tourist attractions locally.
 

Lake Negratin is only a 10 minute drive away and is a lovely location for sunbathing, swimming and fishing (permit needed). In high season you can hire pedaloes from as little as €5 per hour. There is an on-site restaurant where you can buy ice-creams and drinks or taste one of the excellent value menu del dia (menu of the day) for only €7.50 per person and consists of 3 courses, wine and bread.
A 20 minute drive further down the lake you will find the hot springs where you can relax in naturally hot spring water for only a couple of euros overlooking the lake. There is a round restaurant built into the mountain just above.
Approx 10 minutes drive away you can explore the Sierra de Baza, a beautiful Natural Park with wild deer and wild boar. There is an activity centre here and restaurant. (further information can be found in our info folder situated in the cave house )  

20 mintues drive away is the troglodite village of Purullena, so called for its vast number of residents that live in caves.
This picturesque village has supperb views of the Sierra Nevada and surrounding area. There are a number of shops selling locally produced pottery at very low prices. Purullena also has its own cave museum which for €2 is a very interesting visit. You will also find numerous cafes and bars.
Next to purullena is the Town of Guadix with Historical buildings and museums. There are plenty of shops and bar/restaurants and Guadix has a large traditional market on Saturdays.
The city of Baza is only a 20 minute drive and also consists of many shops and bars, historical buildings and has its market on Wednesdays.
1 hours drive away is the City of Granada with its vast amount of cathedrals and museums, shops and bars there is something for everyone. Also of interest is the famous Alhambra Palace and the Sierra Nevadas. 

15 minutes drive away there is a public swimming pool and tennis court. 20 minutes drive away there is a man made beach.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 single and 1 cots. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the Can be put where needed. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. The house has a sauna.

The house has television. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The house is in a very quiet area. It has a patio area, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Within easy reach of the house you will find a museum, a theatre/cinema.

There are two man made beaches on the Lake Negratin within a 20 minute drive.

Nathan & Sarah says: "Our time there was amazing! Beautiful old Spanish village, with a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. Full of life and nostalgia surrounded by a mixture of breath taking and stunning scenery. Very reasonable for running costs, local beverages and food were very cheap. The property itself was brilliant, exterior and interior was immaculately finished with great attention paid to detail. Very clean and presentable property, with small touches here and there giving it a homely feel. The owners are themselves through and through terrific people and a lovely family. Always making sure things were ok and wanting to help yet without ever intruding into our privacy. This for us really made our holiday more enjoyable as we knew we had someone to rely on if needed so. Overall a wonderful place, great value for money ideal for those looking to get away relax and unwind, yet still have a laugh and a bit of fun. Worth visiting more than once."
