You will have to travel a long way to find a more peaceful and secluded location for your holiday. The long, narrow lane leading to the cottage, takes you away from the paved road and into a different world. One in which the loudest sounds are made by pheasants in the fields or cormorants on the river, where you can see otters and salmon in the wild, and all manner of birds being busy around you while you unwind in this charming house and riverside garden.
The cottage and surrounds, especially the traditional fireplace with its bellows, will allow you to rediscover life's simple pleasures. The cottage is perfect for nature lovers and artists, fishermen and walkers. Well-behaved pets are welcome. A hot tub and sauna are located next door to the cottage and are available by appointment, there is an extra charge for this facility.

You will find plenty to do nearby, if you can tear yourself away from the cottage. There are abundant beaches and coves to explore, mountains and hills to be climbed. Historic towns and castles to be visited and many a memorable meal to enjoy. There are plenty of opportunities to sample Irish culture as there are Irish music pubs and an Irish speaking area nearby.
 

 

 

The cottage is very comfortable and spacious with an open fire in the dining room and electric heating throughout. Recently renovated and tastefully decorated to preserve old world atmosphere with modern conveniences. The brass beds under the thatched roof make for restful sleeping. Well-equipped kitchen. Peaceful, well tended garden with access to riverbank.

The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 single and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The cottage has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The cottage has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 5 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Well behaved pets are allowed, provided they are not allowed on in the bedrooms, on the beds or furniture.

The cottage is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The cottage is right beside walking, cycling.

Close to the cottage you will find horse riding, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the cottage you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, golf, tennis, a sports center, historic sites, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant.
