Lemon Tree Cottage is the perfect rural retreat for 2 – 3 people! It has a pretty little enclosed garden, private swimming pool and splendid mountain views.

The cottage itself is a wonderful renovation of an existing stone building originating over 200 years ago and now offers comfortable living in truly relaxing surroundings.
 

The interior of the cottage is all open plan with the double bedded sleeping area to the right and a 2nd sleeping area on the wooden mezzanine above. (It is worth noting that extra care should be taken on the stairs with toddlers or people with walking difficulties). Alternatively, the sofa bed can be moved to the lounge area.

The cosy living area is heated by a small log burner for winter and early/late holidays, and there is a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, DVD, CD player for your enjoyment.

The small fitted kitchen overlooks the pretty terrace and gardens and there is an additional room that contains the washing machine, microwave, toaster, fridge, ironing board and iron. There is also a separate shower room and wc.
 

The beauty of this cottage is the outside area which is completely enclosed and totally private. The well established flowers and shrubs provide a picturesque setting from which to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.

The village centre is a comfortable 5 minute stroll where basic provisions may be found together with a splendid local pizzeria!

The village of Vamos is within a 5 minute drive and here you will find some exemplary tavernas offering delightful Cretan specialities, cooked by traditional means.

Other village shops sell local wines, honey, nuts and ceramics and there is also a chemist, bakery, butcher, dentist and local doctor.

Litsarda lies midway between Rethymnon and Chania and therefore offers a convenient base from which to explore the stunning scenery, beaches and mountains that western Crete has to offer.

Car Hire is recommended if you wish to explore the local area but not essential.
 

The cottage comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double and 1 cots. The property also has 1 single sofa bed. This gives room for up to 3 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The cottage has 1 bathrooms for your party's use.

The cottage has television dvd. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 3 in the living room and 3 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this cottage.

Pets are not welcome

The cottage is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking.

The cottage is right beside swimming, walking, cycling.

Close to the cottage you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, mountain biking, horse riding, historic sites.

Within easy reach of the cottage you will find a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark.

The village pizzeria, cafenion and local mini market are within a 5 minute walk from the cottage.
