Maleme is a pretty village situated in Western crete. It is very quiet and relaxing and there is no need to hire a car unless you want to go further afield.

Chania (capital) - 30 minutes
Platanias for more lively night life. It is approximately 20 minutes away. Here you will find a much larger selection of shops, bars, tavernas, disco and car hire. 

German war cemetery. This is a few minutes walk away.
Allied war cemetary in Souda Bay. 

Water sport facilities are available on the beach opposite the apartment. A land train is available just a few minutes walk from the apartment and runs throughout the summer season. Various trips are available.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the Living Room, 1 double sofa bed located in the Living Room. This gives room for up to 6 people.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

Gordon says: "Great location - you can sleep with the sound of gentle waves, if its not so hot that you need the air con on! Spacious apartment in friendly block. Shared pool isnt that big but fine for a cool down and never crowded when we were there - some of us preferred the very short walk to the warm sea anyway! Highly recommended. "
