A quiet little village Keratokambos, situated next to the sea on the southeast coast, is a small resort that has long been enjoyed by the local Cretans. The last few years have also attracted visitors from further a field who have begun to discover and enjoy the tranquility and real village atmosphere of this place.
The weather is always better than the commercial north side and you would be the furthest south part in Europe possible making a guaranteed sun filled holiday.

one main street which lines the long sand and shingle beach where you can find a local supermarket, cafés, and a handful of taverns, ensuring you dont need to go far to experience real Cretan cooking and hospitality at its best. 10 minutes east and you are at the larger village of Toutourous which boasts a beautiful beach, also in only 1 hour you reach the capital of the south of Crete, Ierapetra the south’s city since Minoan times still having a Venetian harbour castle and a large modern shopping centre, harbour bars, restaurants and nightlife.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has television dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

chris and lyn says: "This is a recent build and has been furnished to a very good standard in a modern open plan style. The villa is airy and light and most windows are fitted with insect screens so windows can be left open at night. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, saucepans etc. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage for clothes but the main bedroom would benefit from air conditioning. Both bathrooms are fitted to an excellent standard. The living area is large and well planned with leather settees and stylish dining furniture. Additional storage space for all the holiday bits and bobs would be useful. The villa is set in a very quiet area of S Crete, but there are local tavernas offering good quality food at very reasonable prices. Try Zorbas at Toutsouros for an excellent meal. In our opinion, the villa is best suited to couples and families with older children, as there are open sided stairs in the villa and steep unfenced dro ps from the terrace to the neighbouring villa and pool below which could be a hazard to the elderly or young children. This is an excellent place to get away from it all and we were pleased that we had hired a 4 x 4 which was great for the local roads and the steep dirt track up to the villa."
