About Kea
Kea, also known by its Venetian name Tzia, is the northernmost and fourth in size Cycladic island.
A sheer 16 nautical miles from the mainland port of Lavrio in east Attica (serviced by Minoan's Express Ermis and Goutos' Myrina), or, a pleasant 75 minute boat ride, Kea is so close and simultaneously so far away from Athens and its New International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos". From the port of Pireus, Kea is serviced by Nell's Aiolos and, during the month of August, by Flying Dolphins.

In the 100 sq.m. inside its 60 cm thick stonewalls, villa Phil offers on one single level, two bedrooms (master and guest), with traditional wooden Kea ceilings, floors and ceiling fans, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, open plan kitchen area and a large outside terrace. In total, villa Phil sleeps up to 6 adults.
The luminous open-plan rustic kitchen offers all modern amenities and cooking equipment, like a true home: gas/electric stove, large refrigerator, and a full set of pots, pans, dishes, and glasses.
However, in the summer, life in Greece takes place mostly outside and the 6x20m living area, the terrace in front of the house, is its real charm. Under the shaded sitting area or in the sun, one may enjoy the beauty of the changing light and serenity of the Kastellakia bay where the sound of the waves will be disturbed only by the occasional cry of the hawks.
The master bedroom features a traditional, built-in king size bed (200x210 cm).
All bedrooms have a sea views and immediate access to the common terrace area.
The house is decorated in a straightforward, simple, country modern style with elegant wood trimmings, conforming to local architecture and reflecting the spartan natural surrounding area
The guest bedroom features two antique wrought iron single beds (90x200cm).
An additional two adults may comfortably sleep in the living area on the specially designed built-in fireplace sitting area divans with hand made cotton mattresses (90x200cm).
The two bathrooms are built with traditional materials: the master bathroom is like a giant sculpture chiseled out of an Aegean rock and the tile lain guest bathroom brings to mind romantic hues of past times.
