Set high up in the foothills of St Hillarion Castle, with fabulous views of the sea in front of the villa and the mountains behind. There are a total nine villas on the site. 5 minutes walking distance from Karmi village and 10 minutes drive to Kyrenia Harbour, the villa is 4 miles west of Kyrenia. There are 3 different terrace levels for you to enjoy "al fresco" eating or simply watching the sun go down with a cool drink. The kitchen has all mod appliances, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, fridge/freezer. The villa is the right choice if you are seeking tranquility and a peaceful holiday to totally chill out and unwind.
 

Northern Cyprus is worth visiting at any time of year. During July and August it can be very hot. Spring erupts in a blaze of flowers in mid-February, and it is still possible to sunbathe and swin in the sea up to the end of November. There is plenty of flora and fauna to see, walkers will enjoy the many walks available.
For history lovers, there are many historical sites to explore and there is plenty to see from magical castles and Roman mosaics, to monasteries and churches. There are plenty of beaches ranging from those with a variety of water sports available to the wild and deserted. The waters are crytsal clear.


 

Karmi is without doubt the most beautiful and well-kept village in the whole of Cyprus. A beautiful old church, masses of bougainvillea and other flowers, little cobbled streets meander around, running mountain streams, and wild-life are the only sounds you are likely to hear. Village Amenities include a shop, 2 restaurants, pub, bar & coffee shop. 5 mins down the hill supermarkets, shops, beaches & restaurants can be found. The lovely old Kyrenia harbour is one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. The local people are friendly, polite and hospitable, the cuisine is reasonable priced and superb. Karmi village is inhabited by mostly British or foreign people who have been living in the village for a long time. They have their own bars & restaurants . Karmi is on the Five Finger Mountains, having one of the best views on the planet! The area is not as humid as the other parts of the island. There is usually a gentle breeze coming from the mountains.
 

The property is enclosed by traditional Cypriot dry-stone wall. Wrought iron gates are at the entrance and there is parking room for 2 cars. The pool is 9m x 4.5m and there is also an outdoor shower. Patio furniture, sun loungers and pool towels are provided. There is a stone BBQ. The garden is terraced on several flat levels, the pool area may be unsuitable for very young children due to the 3-4ft drop around the pool terrace

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Lounge + 2 Fold up beds. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private north facing swimming pool, a north facing garden, a north facing patio area, a north facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a restaurant, a food shop.

Marilyn says: "We had a wonderful break at Villa Jacaranda. The Villa itself was spacious, immaculately clean and contained everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed having a private swimming pool, from which there were spectacular views down the mountainside to the sea. The owner's assistance in arranging taxi transfers to and from Larnaca airport and a hire car for our use when we were there was an added bonus. Our main objective on this particular holiday was to relax by the pool, read our books and enjoy some sunshine and we couldn't have picked a better place to unwind. Northern Cyprus is still undeveloped in terms of tourist attractions and may not suit the younger generation and those who are looking for nightlife and exitement, but it's certainly ideal if you want somewhere warm and peaceful to unwind. After showing my friends the photographs we took at the villa they can't believe the price, compared to similar style villas in other med resorts it's very good value."
