Lovelly 2006 built contemporary Villa in a fantastic location.
The Villa is located on the exclusive Kos Development at Cape Greco, and is ideal for holidaying in Protaras, Ayia Napa, or just staying local and spending time at the Villa.
The Villa is brand new and has been tastefully and fully furnished
Upstairs there are two bedrooms; both open up onto a first floor balcony with open views of the Mediterranean Sea.
The whole Villa has air conditioning and benefits from a relaxed open plan dining / living room and a modern kitchen with full facilities. The villa also has a Television and DVD player. DVD's can be taken along or bought/hired in the area, for your own entertainment.
The Villa has its own outdoor 6m x 3M swimming pool, with a fully tiled veranda.
There are sun-lounge’s and furniture for al fresco dining alongside the pool.
All bed linen and towels are supplied. A maid and house maintenance service is available. The Villa offers sleeping for upto 7 people, this could be a large family, a number of couples, or even a combination.
Their are 2 bedrooms;
A Double Bedroom with floor to ceiling wardrobes, air conditioning unit and free standing fan.
A Bedroom with 2 single beds and a pull out bed, floor to ceiling wardrobes and air conditioning unit.
Further sleeping is offered by way of a sofa bed in the living room.
The Villa also offers a Family bathroom on the first floor, and a visitors bathroom on the ground floor.
There is also a washing machine on the first floor.
The Villa has tiled flooring throughout, and also benefits from an outside Shower.
Villa Setting
The villa is in a peaceful setting in the Cape Greco Nature Reserve, and escapes the noise and hustle and bustle that is sometimes associated with the popular seaside resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa. It is just 3km from Protaras, where there is a huge selection of restaurants, bars, shops and some food shops etc,. It is also 9 km from Ayia Napa, where there is also the same selection of bars and restaurants.
Protoras is a family oriented resort, with a large selection of beaches, shops, bars and restaurants, but is not full of nightclubs and large groups of young people. This makes it an ideal base for a fun family holiday. Ayia Napa also has a large selection of beaches,shops,bars and restaurants, and is known as being one of the places to visit for nightlife in the Mediterranean.
The beaches in Protoras, and more importantly locally are some of the best on the island, crystal blue sea and sandy beaches run all along Protoras and the Cape Greco coastlines, and you can walk to the local beach at Konnos Bay Cape Greco in approx 10 mins, this is used mainly by the locals and has a lovely shaded snack bar area. The famous Fig Tree Beach is also definitely one to explore. They all offer watersports and boat hire.
If you have young children there are Luna Parks in Protaras that will keep them busy and occupied, and the largest waterpark on the Mediteranean in Ayia Napa.
The location of the villa means that hiring a car is not essential, but to see the island properly we recommend that you do.You have all facilities within walking distance of the Villa, or you can get local transport into Protaras and Ayia Napa, the buses pass on the road by the Villa. Or alternatively you can walk into Protaras. The immediate facilities within walking from the Villa, are 2 local stores, 3 bars, the favourate being Kafkaros which is the nearest and only 2 mins away by foot, and 3 dedicated highly recommended restaurants.
It is now possible to explore the North of the island. The check point at Famagusta is approx 30 mins drive away. You will need to obtain a visa and additional car insurance at the check point. Currently the visa is free and is valid for 3 days and the car insurance costs £15 and is valid for a month.
Places of interest
You may decide that you just want a relaxing holiday enjoying the villa, the views and the pool and exploring the area.
However if you want to explore Cyprus you can hire a car and enjoy a good variety of interesting places.
Northern Cyprus - Approx 1 hour and 30 mins drive. Apart from its obvious Historical interest, Northern Cyprus has some stunning beautiful landscapes, lovely beachsides and a good selection of restaurants.
Troodos Mountains - Approx 1 hour and 30 min drive. You will drive through Limassol which is a large town and worth a visit on the way. Troodos Mountains offers peace, tranquillity, beautiful scenery, cool breezes even on the hottest day, snow on top of the mountains in winter (you can go skiing)
