What made us fall in love with this area?
After looking at various locations the moment we arrived in Mandria we knew we had found what we were looking for . It is very much a traditional village and an active farming community. The relative piece and quiet when sitting out on the patio is priceless. The garden area is 35 sqm and is south facing. It faces out of the complex so any noise and activity going on within the grounds stay there. The walk to the beach is approximately 10 minutes and is along a single track road passed open fields and is very flat. The secluded beach is a mix of pebbles & sand you can look out across the sea or look back to the village with hills behind it. This is defintely a place to chill out.
NB. 09.05.08 - There is eventually going to be some building work taking place to the rear of the apartment. No definite date as yet, locals keeping us updated. Will not effect your enjoyment of the pool area, and still makes apartment an excellent base to explore Cyprus. 
What is in the immediate locality
There are two traditional tavernas within the village and two mini-markets plus a bakery. There are several villages between Mandria and Paphos and each with it's own tavernas. All serving reasonably priced traditional food. Geroskipou is the nearest larger town and it has shops, supermarkets, internet cafe, bakeries selling delicious pastries. Timi village which is minutes away from Mandria has a regular Sunday market, where you can buy local produce, bric a brac, cakes etc.. The beach at Mandria is ideal for fishing, snorkelling and diving. Secret Valley and Aphroditie Hills Golf courses are between 10 - 15 minutes away. 
Driving
Due to Mandria's proximity a car is recommended. There is a bus service into Paphos but it can be infrequent and there is no bus service at night. Driving in Cyprus is easy, especially as they drive on the left. Mandria is ideally situated for site seeing, the motorway is only a few minutes away and this will take you from east to west of Cyprus. There is always something to do or somewhere to go. For car hire there are a lot of websites, one that we have used and have found to be competitively priced is www.economycarrentals.com.

4 Sun loungers, patio table & 4 chairs, beach towels, safe, fly screens. Smoking is allowed in the garden area but not inside. For rentals between 10-14 days bed linen & towels will be changed mid-way through your stay (this is included in the price). If you require the apartment to be cleaned at the same time there will be an additional charge for this. A welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, butter & bread can be requested - payable locally. If you require any additional items please advise by final payment.
