Queens Gardens - Berengaria

Separated into 3 individually named courts, Queens Gardens is a unique and exclusive residential development in the Centre of Kato Paphos and has already been described as one of the most exciting projects ever for property in Cyprus.

It derives its architectural quality from historical references to the legacies of the rich and powerful nations that once were on the island, and more specifically this development echoes the period when Cyprus was ruled by Venetian Kings and Queens.

The Concept, which focuses on privacy, evolves around a central landscaped square with fountains, ponds and Cupolas. The fountains and pond in the square form the focal point which, with the surrounding lawns, palm trees and shrubs create an ambience of tranquillity and sets the views from the apartments. In addition, there is a sizeable Outdoor Swimming Pool (18m x 9m) and Owners Club on 2 levels with extensive Gymnasium and fitness facilities as well as restaurant and bar.

The Townhouse

The property, (an ex-showhouse with all the trimmings you would expect) is now offered as a holiday let in this very up market development.

The decor throughout is of the highest order with many interior designers touches creating an ambience and sense of luxury that immediately enable you to relax and unwind. A covered private driveway allows access into the main living areas after passing the ideal sized kitchen which is fully fitted with all modern conveniences including granite work surfaces and digital hob. The lounge area features 2 large comfortable sofas, a LCD TV with Satellite (for Uk channels) and a very ornate glass topped dining table with matching chairs.

Access from the lounge is gained to a 4m x 4m sun terrace which is afforded sunshine for most of the afternoon and early evening. The sun terrace is equipped with table and chairs to (seating 4), 4 sun loungers and a Gas BBQ to assist with alfresco dining at any time of day. A gate leads out into the poolside area which has 2 WCs, pool showers, and the large 18m x 9m swimming pool as its centrepiece.

Heading upstairs, there are 2 generously proportioned bedrooms, both with balconies and a family bathroom which is very nicely appointed with bath, shower, screen, WC and wash hand basin with mirror above for vanity.

The twin room is spacious with 2 single sized beds, fitted wardrobes, a dressing table and stool looking into a large mirror with occasional chair in the corner. Patio doors lead out on to a long 5m x 1.5m balcony which faces east to enjoy the morning sunshine. A table and 4 chairs have been provided in this area also.

The master bedroom comes complete with king sized bed, bedside tables, fitted wardrobes, dressing table, stool and mirror and has patio doors which lead to a large 5m x 4m balcony/terrace facing West and enjoying a good degree of daily sunshine. The set up easily allows individual privacy for more than 1 couple or for people with older children. A further table and chairs in wicker style are on this balcony which from the front end, overlooks the pool.

Everything in the property is of good quality and provides an ideal setting for a luxury or romantic holiday.

A maid service is provided on a mid-week basis (for stays of 10 nights or more). A welcome pack and use of the air-conditioning is also included for your enjoyment as well as a warm welcome from our property manager.

Please note that the apartment is strictly non smoking and it is preferable that no children under 7 are allowed to occupy.
 
Paphos and Cyprus

Queens Gardens is situated in the most sought after area, and is within easy walking distance to the beach, the harbour, many tourist attractions and to the centre of Paphos Town with all necessary amenities, restaurants, bars and cafes close at hand.

Paphos combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Paphos and boasts a pretty little harbour and plenty of open air cafes and bars. Further inland is the old town of Paphos, known by the locals as Ktima. With its narrow streets, hustle and bustle, covered market and typically Cypriot atmosphere, it is well worth a visit. As a consequence, Paphos is on UNESCOs World Cultural Heritage list.

Cyprus is famous as the birth place of the goddess Aphrodite, Venus in Roman mythology. She is known as the Ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty. Legend says that she emerged from the sea at Aphrodite’s Rock in a surge of sea foam.
