We bought ‘Siesta Hillside Villa’ purely because of its absolutely stunning views across Paphos to the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea along with its peacefully fabulous surroundings.

Walking out from the living room onto the veranda with its abundance of flowering plants, shrubs and grape vines, you will just want to sit and marvel at this wonderful seascape view for hours. Not only can these views be admired from the privacy of the garden, but from both bedrooms too! You will wake up in the morning, open the curtains and there it is… breathtaking sea views. Step out onto the bedroom balcony, sit down and sip a cool glass of orange juice whilst taking in the fresh air, glorious hillside views and awesome sight of the Mediterranean.

Being set on the hillside of the Award Winning and very carefully planned ‘Kamares Village’, if you look downward, there is a patchwork of terracotta roofs and beautifully maintained white-washed walled villas, winding their way down the hillside into the distance; a joy to look at.

Our lovely south-facing detached 2 bedroom villa has just been luxuriously refurbished in a contemporary style with every item you could think of from top-of-the-range sofas and wooden sunloungers to rich mahogany bedroom suites all being brand new and of the very highest quality.

Walk from the back of the villa, and a few steps up a cobbled path lead you to a magnificent large kidney-shaped pool. The beautiful landscaped surroundings of this very quiet hilltop communal pool allow you to relax under one of its many thatched sunshades. There is also a small children’s pool for our younger guests to splash around in.

'Siesta Hillside Villa' is located at the end of a small cul-de-sac where you would be living along-side a number of our quiet and peaceful resident neighbours. The villa would therefore appeal to those who would enjoy this kind of quiet and relaxing lifestyle.

The Kamares Club, a short drive down the hill, acts as a focal point for the social life of Kamares Village. The club has a welcoming, relaxing & comfortable atmosphere which makes everyone feel right at home. The restaurant & bar at the Kamares Club are the perfect place for a lazy brunch, a hearty lunch or even a romantic evening dinner. You could even take an afternoon dip in the Club’s large outdoor pool.

The traditional and very popular Cypriot village square of Tala is a short drive away down the hill which snakes its way past some of the most intersting and well-kept villa’s on the Island. In this quaint village square you will find a church, supermarket, pub, a smattering of Cypriot tavernas and a romantic English bistro/restaurant with yet more amazing views overlooking Paphos and the surrounding coastline.
 

A five minute drive from the house takes you to St Neophytos Monastery, and the beaches of Coral Bay and the town of Paphos is only a 10-15 minute drive away. Here you will find a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and amenities, together with a wonderful historic harbour.

Further along the coast is the Akamas National Park, with its many lovely beaches & coves & quaint historical villages.

Polis and Latchi are both within easy driving distance and offer lovely beaches & spectacular countryside.

Tsada Golf Course is less than 10 minutes drive away and offers excellent facilities. The famous Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley Golf resorts are both within a 30 minute drive.

There is a short ski season between January & March in the Troodos Mountains which are within a 2 hour drive.

Paphos airport is only a 20 minute drive and Larnaca airport is less than 2 hours away.

As Cyprus is such an interesting country to explore with its quaint villages, historical sights, countryside and coastline and to get the very best from your holiday, we would recommend the hire of a car. And to make things even easier, in Cyprus you drive on the same side of the road as in the UK and road signs are in English too!
 

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the (z bed) bedroom or living room. This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 1 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, golf, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a restaurant.
