Karaka (4+2)- apartment is 50 m2 in size and consists of two bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and a living room with a sofa bed, dining room and a balcony with a beautiful view of Gruž harbour. Apartment has air conditioning and all kitchen utensils; TV, stereo system, DVD and satellite receiver are also at your disposal.

Susan says: "The best point about this property is its location -close to the beach, a beautiful pedestrianised boulevard in Lapad (the resort area) with lots of restaurants and bars and close to the bus-stop, so it is easy to pick up buses to the Old Town. It also has a bakery opposite so you can pick up fresh bread every morning. The other great thing is it has air-conditioning- such a necessity in hot Dubrovnik summers. Nice view too from the balcony over the Gruz harbour. The kitchen though small is surprisingly efficient and the rooms are a decent size. The downside to the property is that it is on the 3rd floor with no lift, so is quite a trek up, particularly if you have buggies and small children as we do. The landlady is very helpful and lives just downstairs. "
