This excellent lower ground floor apartment boasts a 40ft decked garden, perfect for summer barbeques!

The large living room has solid bamboo flooring with leather sofa 32 inch LCD TV with digital channels & recordable DVD player. Aselection of DVDs & Videos are in the property for your use if you fancy a cosy night in. The exclusive music system is Bang & Olufsen, there is also an iPod dock if you brought your MP3 player along. Aswell as the large sofa there is a sofa-bed allowing space for up to 6 guests without being under eachother's feet.

The apartment is filled with original artwork, much of the art is by talented local artists.

The Master Bedroom has a kingsize bed and a 24inch wall mounted LCD TV with digital chanells. There is a walk in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space.

The second bedroom is at the rear of the house, giving great privacy if 2 or 3 couples are staying in the property. This room has a double bed, it is very bright and overlooks the garden.

The Kitchen is well kitted out with high quality Smeg Oven & fridge/freezer & Dualit toaster. There is also a dishwasher and a washer dryer.

The Massive Garden is 40' with decking, table & chairs and cool water feature.

The Bathroom has an excellent power shower, great for blowing hte cobwebs away after a night out. There is also a bath, bidet and a heated towel rail.

Devonshire Place Patio Apartment would provide a great base for any family or group of friends wishing to explore the delights Brighton has to offer.

The appt is located in Kemptown in central Brighton just off the cosmopolitan St James St area 2 mins walk to the seafront, 5 minutes walk to the pier.

On St James St (20 meters from appt) you'll find many restaurants/bars/coffee shops/boutique shopping as well as everything you'll need for everyday living eg post office/supermarket/24 hour grocers/chemists/internet cafes
Town centre/shopping mall is approx 10 mins walk
Although the appt is only a mins walk to all these amenities it is also a very quiet apartment.

One of the main features of this apartment is its large decked garden - quite a rarity for such a central location!!

Sally says: "The interior design, layout, lighting, outside art / fountain and mod cons eg. CD player on wall were great and it was an excellent social space, as described and shown on the website. We enjoyed our stay. The negatives could be easily rectified but I wouldnt reccomend to a friend until they were addressed. Smelly drain outside the front door was really off putting, no shower curtain in the bathroom is very impractical as the floor gets soaked, lamp not working in the back bedroom, the decked patio needed a good sweep (dirty ash tray & dirty floor) and the flat had a slightly fusty smell, dirty/tired paintwork around inside living room patio door. Even though the flat was clean the stale smoke / fusty smell made it feel dirty. Its a great, fun flat in a fabulous location but I felt the negatives must be attended to before I would revisit as it spoilt the overall experience slightly. "

Were glad you found the property such an excellent socaial space. The couple fo issues you highlighted have been rectified now so hope if you visit again you would leave a 5 star review.

There is no smell from the outside drain, it could have been a smell from teh rubbish store but that has been cleared out now.

The shower curtain is back up & the lamp seems to be working fine.

There had been some problems with cleaning standards in the property and the landlrod has since changed cleaning company so we do not expect future problems with the cleaning or any funny smells.

The whole apartment has been repainted where necessary and is looking fresh again and up to the high standards you would hope for.
