The lovely swimming pool (8x4 metres, depth 1.5 metres) is surrounded by landscaped gardens and grassy areas, which benefit from both sun and shade throughout the day.

DUE TO IMMEDIATE PROXIMITY OF POOL TO THE PROPERTY, IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR VERY YOUNG CHILDREN.

The lounge leads out to a terrace with a large table and comfortable seating area for al fresco dining: a favourite spot for evening drinks as you watch the sunset over the Greek islands in the distance. Alternatively wander over to the amphitheatre with your glass of wine and enjoy the panoramic views.

The site has been professionally landscaped with olive trees, shrubs, and climbing plants. It even has its own amphitheatre set in parkland!
 

There is a tranquil walk down an old donkey track to the delightful fishing village of Gumusluk with its unspoilt beach and famous seafood restaurants. Follow the pathway along the beach and discover the ancient city of Myndos with its mosaics and ruins, partly submerged beneath the bay.

 

We were enchanted by Gumusluk on one of our first holidays abroad, way back in 1990.

We returned in April 2006. What a relief to find the village just as we remembered it, thanks to a conservation order which has prevented any building around the bay. Our villa is as close as you can get to Gumusluk: one of very few properties within walking distance.('Gumusluk', we discovered, can mean anything up to 10km from the fishing village!)

And the villa? The build is very high quality, the development is small and is set amidst parkland with an amphitheatre.

It was still under construction when we first saw it in April, but by August it was transformed, exceeding all our expectations! Even the photos don't do it justice: you really need to go and see it for yourselves....
 

Sunbeds are available. There is a Jacuzzi bath in the upstairs bathroom. 6 Beach Towels are available for guests use ( please wash after use) also a selection of DVDs and books.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private west facing swimming pool, access to a shared west facing swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, a west facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, historic sites.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find golf, scuba diving, a museum, a theatre/cinema.
