Chalet Verchin is a modern traditional wood built Alpine chalet, which comfortably sleeps up to 12(plus 2 children) in the heart of the Port du Soleil. The chalet nestles on the south side of the valley with stunning moutain views. Ideal for both summer and winter vacations, with activities including world class skiing mountain biking and cycling 

Chalet Verchin combines modern comfort with Savoyarde charm. Le Biot is a quaint mountain village, 10 minutes from the sophisticated market town of Morzine. The chalet provides easy access to both the French and Swiss Alps. Given the majestic mountains, tumbling rivers and beautiful woodland it is easy to appreciate why the whole area is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. Whilst Le Biot is a tranquil village, served by 2 restaurants, bakery and tabac, there are numerous charming Savoyarde towns offering a very wide selection of activities and amenities. Morzine and Le Gets are perhaps the most widely known towns and are very unlike the many aesthetically challenged, purpose built French ski resorts. They are traditional alpine market towns which have retained their historical charm and are now well served with restaurants, bars and shopping facilities.  

The chalet receives the sun throughout the day. As it is open plan with 3 sets of French doors in the living area with a wrap round terrace and balcony(BBQ and large dinining table) The chalet t does have a light, airy feel with 3 syes of full length French doors on the loung floor alone.

At maximum occupancy, we have only allowed 2 persons per bedroom, with the lounge NOT doubling up as a sleeping area. The chalet has been newly furnished in with leather sofas, white goods, new comfy beds/matresses(2 of which are king size) and new linen. It has a cosy log fire and under floor heating and a large dining table with seating for 12.

Given that the property will be used for groups up to 12 we have two 500 llitre hot water tanks an power showers,so no issues about when everyone can shower!

At ground level there is a double length garage with adequate secure storage space for bikes, boats and skis. In addition there is a large tiled utility room and drying area for wet clothing and boots.
In addtion thre is a large lawned area to the front and rear of the property all with delightful mountain views.

The ski chalet comprises 8 bedrooms in total; 6 double, 2 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 14 people.

The ski chalet has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The ski chalet has television and home cinema with video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 12 in the living room and 12 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The ski chalet is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The ski chalet is right beside walking, cycling.

Close to the ski chalet you will find sailing, boat hire, fishing, climbing.

Within easy reach of the ski chalet you will find a beach, water skiing, wind surfing, flying.

Many thanks for the rental of the chalet. It exceeded our expectations and
provided the perfect base for our ski holiday. Although the snow was not at
its best, the higher slopes were fine and there was just enough to get the

I would like to thank you for a wonderful stay. We all loved the chalet and enjoyed it's cosy charming atmosphere. It was a most enjoyable stay and will not hesitate to recomend it to friends and family who intend to visit the Alps. Like I said this was our first time in this area and enjoyed it emensley from the off, The weather was also very handsome, not one drop of rain all week, and lovely blue skys throughout. And what a base for walking, we completed the long 6hr hike just outside Le Boit which had some amazing views.Mathiew Parker
