This modern, charming villa takes its name from the ancient, peaceful Olive Groves surrounding it. The Olive Grove has an ideal location. Being only ten minutes by car from either the capital city of Argostoli or the island airport makes it a very comfortable point of departure. Lakithra also has a rather renowned bakery and a few nice restaurants and shops. Nearby there is a large resort-style establishment with a great pool (which guests are able to visit) as well as a bar and cafe.  

The village of Lakithra sits on a hillside giving this home absolutely amazing views from all of its four patios and balconies. The lounge and kitchen share a large open light-filled space which is furnished very comfortably with a large sumptuous sofa and equipped with an lcd television, dvd and cd player. There's a small bathroom on the main floor. The kitchen features a sleek ceramic hob, stainless fridge/freezer and full oven. There are of course all the utensils and dishes you'll need if you want to enjoy cooking meals at home with the fresh local produce or fish!

The upstairs features three large bedrooms, all decorated in fresh light colours and featuring dreamy mosquito nets that add more romance to the ambience than actual function (all windows have fly screens). All bedrooms (as well as main floor) have air-conditioning for those hot Greek summer nights. The views from the second floor are just amazing, and you can really enjoy them because the two double bedrooms have large balconies where you can lounge in the morning or the evening to enjoy the views of Argostoli harbour to the front or the open sea to the back.  

The villa is a really great option for families as well - the front of the villa is enclosed by a gate and the third bedroom upstairs has two single beds just perfect for singles or little ones (there are also folding beds available).

Located in the Livathos area of Kefalonia, The Olive Grove is near Argostoli, Mount Aenos, the airport, wineries, fantastic beaches, great cafes, shops and restaurants, St. George’s Castle and many other unforgettable sights.

In the cottage guests will find a book which highlights the most popular, as well as off the beaten path, sights and activities that Kefalonia has to offer. This provides a point of reference for your holiday explorations on what is sure to be a memorable and pleasurable vacation. 

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 1 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a garden, a summer house, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside walking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, swimming, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, flying, tennis, a sports center, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find sailing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, scuba diving.
