This attractive villa for rent is brand new, having been completed in August 2006. The villa was built in the rustic style of a traditional Maltese farmhouse to stay in keeping with its surrounding area. The villa has 4 bedrooms, 3 with en-suite bathrooms, indoor jacuzzi ,and can sleep from 8 to 12 people. With a large private swimming pool and a small paddling pool for children, the villa is an ideal holiday rental for a large family.

This modern farmhouse or villa is for rent on the peaceful island of Gozo, Malta in the little village of Santa Lucia, just a 30 minute walk to the beach at Dwejra and 10 to the capital Victoria. Dwejra is one of the best Mediterranean spots for scuba-diving. There are several dive-centres in Gozo, all of them less than 30 minutes drive! Victoria, the Capital of Gozo is situated just in the center of the island. This is the hub of Gozo where most of the shops, coffee shops, and business communities are situated. The nearest restaurant to this farmhouse is only about 5 minutes drive. At the village center one can find a local traditional wine bar, where locals meet every evening. Car hire is essential in Gozo, in order to visit the most beautiful places on this small island.

The villa has all the amenities for the perfect self catering holiday, where the family can relax in the knowledge they are in a safe and friendly environment. This property is an ideal holiday retreat for families, groups of friends and/or colleagues.

It is not only ideal for summer, but also for winter, since access to all bedrooms is from the inside.

To accommodate larger families/groups this farmhouse can be interconnected with "Ta' Nikola Farmhouse" (which in turn can also be interconnected with "Tan-Nanna Farmhouse") through a back door situated by the pool area, so that larger groups who need to have 2 or 3 farmhouses at one time (ie. from 6 bedrooms up to 10 bedrooms), would find it easy to get access from one farmhouse to another without the need to go out in the street and use only the front door!

We are offering FREE CAR HIRE (Category A or equivalent price) for 5 days for every booking for a minimum of 15 nights! 

Indoor jacuzzi is also available at this property. Guests have use of roof enjoying country views, views of the Gozo Citadel, Acquadocts, etc. Parking is definately not a problem. Interested in a specific date and the farmhouse is not available? Contact us again since there can be any provisional bookings which will be dropped!

The farm house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 2 cots, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 12 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The farm house has 4 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use.

The farm house has television dvd, satellite/cable. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this farm house.

The farm house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing patio area, a north facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque.

The farm house is right beside swimming, walking, cycling, mountain biking, a food shop.

Close to the farm house you will find a beach, fishing, climbing, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the farm house you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, horse riding, tennis, a sports center.

Review submitted by non-Villarenters customer: What a gem to find such a place as Tal-Kitarra Farmhouse in the wealth of pages the internet provides!

We consider ourselves honoured to be among the first to visit this fabulous farmhouse and enjoy the peace of Gozo.

The kids have had a great time at the pool and sightseeing both on Gozo and on our day trips to Malta. Everywhere the 'locals' have chatted to the children, made us feel very welcome and done their best to 'point us in the right direction'.

Special places? Too many to mention but I disagree with the Guide Book we had. We visited several of the churches - Xewkija (go up the lift to admire the views) and Ta' Pinu are special. I loved Dwejra Point and we thought Xlendi was far more cosmopolitan than Marsalforn, but each to their own.

If you get the chance to be a part of one of the village 'Festas', be there! We were here for the Assumption and the festivities in Victoria were amazing - never seen anything like it! The fireworks, well...

As for Malta, we only visited twice but Valletta is well worth more than a day; head up towards 'Upper Barracca' Gardens for fantastic views. Mdina is also a must for atmosphere, history and religion all ralled into one.

Places to eat? We tried 'La Stanza' on the road to San Lawrenz and also 'Brookies' (we had a very long wait between courses but the food was fabulous!) Le Val d'Hor in Xleni was also very nice - all family friendly too.

But for making our holiday memorable we must thank Marvik and all his fabulous family! They are all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Fresh tomatoes here are gorgeous!! We will be back without a doubt! Cheers!
