IL-Liedna (The Ivy) is a newly built “house of character”expertly designed and furnished to blend with the typical Gozitan farmhouse characteristics. Il-Liedna is located in the outskirts of the quiet village of Gharb From its three terraces one has a unique view of the famous Sanctuary of Ta’ Pinu and The Lighthouse of Gordan together with sea views and their respective surrounding countryside. Il-Liedna consists of four double bedrooms all en suite. The main bedroom and reading room, have terraces overlooking a large sunny pool .All rooms are with wooden beams and old styled rustic furniture and stone slab ceilings. A fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave and dishwasher. A lovely and spacious dinning/living room welcomes the pool and barbecue area. As a special treat our living room is equipped with telephone, TV and DVD ,(with a cinema surround speakers ). For the kids ,a play station with games would be ideal to keep them quiet. On the ground floor, there is an extra shower room and washroom (with washing machine). Two separate entrances lead to an underlying private six car garage A supermarket and pharmacy are only a short walking distance away. With these luxurious facilities, we guarantee you a pleasant and memorable stay.

Gharb is a traditional Gozan village just a few kilometers beyond the Islands Capital, Victoria. The house is located in a quiet alley just 200 meters from the church and is surrounded by many other similar houses of character dating back some 400 years and more. The village is set in a quiet rural area yet is just 10 minutes from some of the finest beaches and bays on the island and with many country walks available immediately from the villa. The village itself has just one supermarket, one mini market and one restaurant but there is, for some strange reason a Scottish Rangers Bar close to the church. For all other services and a wide choice of restaurants head for Victoria just ten minutes drive by car or bus. The local natives are very friendly and will extend a warm welcome to all visitors and English is widely spoken.
 

The village house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 3 twin and 1 cots, 4 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 double sofa beds located in the One in the living room and one in T.V. room. This gives room for up to 12 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The village house has 5 bathrooms and 5 WCs for your party's use.

The village house has television dvd, satellite/cable. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
