This is a luxurious modern townhouse style semi-detached duplex villa conveniently located within a short walking distance of the new Marina at Puerto Rubicon and Playa Blanca town itself. It has the advantage of its own private pool which is always fully heated (all year round), large terraced areas, private garden, and BBQ. There is a full sized supermarket, taxi rank and 5* hotel all within 50 metres of the villa. It is 2 minutes from the coastal path, a stunning scenic walk which will take you to the world famous Papagayo beaches or to the marina at Puerto Rubicon and along then in to Playa Blanca itself.

Outside:- Villa Ruby is set inside a walled private garden, is a very spacious area, containing a beautifullyy tiled patio and terrace with its own private electrically heated swimming pool (heated all year round). The villa is south facing and receives all day sun on the pool and terrace. There is outdoor lighting and large BBQ - a great place for relaxing or entertaining. You and your family can dine, have a drink or just relax around the patio table with parasol. There are 4 very comfortable sunloungers - beach towels are provided. There is a shower beside the pool.

Inside:- The living room has patio doors looking out to the patio area and pool. Its decorated in a relaxing contemporary style with modern furniture. There is a wide flat-screen t.v. with surround sound speakers, dvd/mp3 player with selection of dvds to use during your stay. There are many magazines and books together with details of all local attractions in the lounge. A CD player and CDs for your use. There is dining facilities also for 4 people.

The Kitchen is extremely well fitted with full sized fitted oven/hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is plenty of crockery, glasses. There is a separate solana area off of the kitchen, used to house the washing machine and is a drying/storage area - ironing etc.

There are two bedrooms….. one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Both have lots of storage with full width of fitted wardrobes. There are light duvets on the beds with extra pillows and blankets if required. You can sleep comfortably and peacefully here at night. The main bedroom has a balcony with sea views and looks onto a park of elegant Canarian Palms and exotic Hoopoe birds or the Bocayna Strait to Fuerteventura’s famous beaches and sand dunes and it’s northern island Lobos or the marina view. There is a chair and table on this balcony.
There is also an integral safe for your use. There is also a wall mounted tv connected to the satellite system in the master bedroom.


The family bathroom is a full sized room which is light and airy with full sized bath and power shower. The downstairs bathroom is also fully tiled with w.c. power shower, and handbasin. There is also an outdoor shower beside the swimming pool.


 

Playa Blanca, known locally as ‘the pearl of the south’ in this Unesco designated Biosphere Reserve. A village of white washed houses with a small harbour, a coastal walk (lined at the town end with bars and restaurants, right on the edge of sea) and the small cove shaped beaches. … and even in the Canaries the weather is better in the South!

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Val says: "Villa Ruby is decorated to a high standard and very comfortable. There is a Large TV with a good TV Package (including RTE radio) a CD and a DVD player with a collection of original DVD’s. The patio area has 4 comfortable wooden sun beds with cushions and a table with comfortable chairs. The pool is lovely and warm. The only thing missing in the kitchen is a dishwasher, the only minor complaint, the coffee pot. Two minutes walk from the Villa there is a good supermarket that sells fresh meat, bread etc.. 8.30 am – 10.00 pm. There is a pretty public park across the road from Villa. Cutting through the inner roads a brisk 10 minute walk will bring you to Marina Rubicon and lots of good restaurants, if you take the coastal walkway via the side of Iberostar Papagayo Hotel it will take 15 to 20 minutes, but the views are much nicer. A taxi ride from the rank in front of the supermarket to the centre of Playa Blanca costs 3.40 Euros approx daytime and 4.40 Euros approx at night-time .
