The guest house , 'Casa do Lagar' is located in Farrobo which lies in the province of Sao Jorge on the north coast of Madieira Island - Portugal. Situated in a peaceful and solitary area with a pleasant climate all year round, it has a panoramic view of the sea and mountains.
It is incorporated into an organic wine plantation .
The old guest house has been furnished in a contemporary style whilst paying particular attention in maintaining a calm and rural feel to the place.
The most beautiful walks long the north coast of Madeira are to be found within easy reach, making it an ideal starting point to meet up with the main levada paths and tourist walks in the middle of the island:-for example, the 'Laurissilva' a protected forest region. The beach, 'Praia do Calhau' , with modern bathing facilities is just five minutes by car.
 

The small house consists of two bedrooms All the rooms are heated and spacious. There is a choice of double or twin beds with ensuite bathrooms/toilet, telephone and satellite-T.V. There is a fully equipped kitchen ideal for preparing individual meals. Outside there is a barbecue, large swimming pool and spacious sun terrace. Both houses have access to the internet.

The country house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 2 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The country house has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use.

The country house has television satellite/cable. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this country house.

The country house is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque.
