If you have not stayed for the end of year fireworks then you have to try it. Madeira has won several awards for its fireworks displays it even out did the Sydney fireworks show and won the prize for best fireworks in the world. Madeira is full of life and you get the sense of "I want to be here" when its Christmas and New Year as the islanders prepare there villages with traditional religious pagan processions. There is a lot to do at night as each village has outdoor "Festas" meaning parties that go into the late hours of the morning with traditional dancing, eating and drinking. You will come home with a big smile on your face to a bed waiting for you to sleep in, until the next day when it all starts again in another village " Party on 24 - 7"...

We were truly blessed with all your hard work in organizing for us at such a short notice, we will be going again next year for our wedding anniversary. Cannot thank you enough for all you have done. Hope to see you soon, we loved staying at the villa it was so quite and clean with breath taking views of the sea and the mountains we felt as if we were at home, will need to make it a month on our following visit.
