There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

A lower villa somewhat shielded from but at the same time providing stunning views from a high vantage point overlooking Funchal bay and harbour. If you are hoping to dine out regularly you will find a few good nearby restaurants which also provide takeaway. If you need to purchase food and cater for yourself there are some good local mini-markets within a short drive again. As for the property itself it was spacious very bright with a very well appointed kitchen including a microwave and pressure cooker. The beds were firm as in hotel quality. The house is clean though not serviced regularly. The computer Wi-Fi connection was a real help but TV programs a disappointment as they were mostly news channels. The owner was extremely pleasant and a minefield of information in all aspects of Maderian life and culture. "
