The house
This property is located right on the beach of Paúl do Mar (pebble stone) and is an ideal location for exploring the island. The popular sandy beaches of Calheta, with its lovely marina, are only a 10-15 minute drive away, and with all the new road and tunnel infrastructure the island is very easy and a joy to drive around.
Property is a refurbished village house (sleeps 6) with a self contained apartment above (sleeps 2 adults or 4 children) available to be rented at a supplement. It comprises a total of 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin in the main house and 1 twin with 2 double beds in the apartment), 3 bathrooms, living room, equipped kitchen with dining area, magnificent terrace with sea view, parasol, shaded area, loungers, table & chairs and BBQ, and a screened patio.
Sleeps 8 adults + 2 children, self catering.

Paul do Mar
Paúl do Mar is one of the most important fishing centres of the archipelago. The ocean provides this parish with an incredibly rich variety of fish, to such an extent that it has become a reference in the world of gastronomy.
Until the late 1960s you could only access this fishing village by boat and for the next thirty years the only way to go down there was very slowly and carefully on a dangerous road. Fortunately the new road did not do any damage to the romantic aspect of the village and everywhere you go you can be sure to find peace, authenticity and tranquillity.
Going out of Paúl do Mar through one of its three tunnels, you leave behind a paradise that you will never forget.
